If you really dont want to leave your city then do reject the offer. But be aware of the consequences as it will affect your pension by some margin.but i think it will not create much difference.Other than that there is not any problem.See it this way that shifting to a new city and new home and everything will cost you,so you can compensate the loss of promotion.

    Hi ,

Promotion is granted to employee based on the experience and salary structure

Promotion will increase your designation range and salary

Failure to avail the promotion will affect your salary and the benefits

You will not get increment in salary obviously it will affect the amount you get at the time of retirement

Also pension is calculated as 60% of the salary after retirement

So you will get less amount of pension only as your salary is not incremented

Better take up the promotion later you can ask for transfer mentioning your having health issues , family problems so and so

    Thanks !!!

Dear, sir in government service promotion is often comes according to their seniority. If you really don't want to take promotion then neglect it,it will not be harmful to your pension you will get a pension at what post you are. But it is good to all government employee not to get any red pen during there service.

DEAR ASPIRANT-FOE VARIOUS REASONS YOU CAN REFUSE PROMOTION.REFUSAL OF PROMOTION DOES NOT CREATE ANY PROBLEM OR DEMERIT.IT IS TRUE YOU MISSED THE OPPORTUNITY SO YOU LOOSE ADDITIONAL BENEFITS ATTACHED WITH THAT CHAIR(PROMOTION)BUT YOUR EXISTING CHAIR'S BENEFIT LIKE INCREMENT,PF,PENSION ETC CN NOT BE REDUCED.

UNDER THE ABOVE SITUATION YOUR PENSION WILL REMAIN AS IT IS SO NEED NOT BE WORRY.

OTHER THING MAY HAPPEN ie NEXT TIME IF YOU WISH TO TAKE PROMOTION MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE.

When an employee either government or private gets promotion it's depend on him/her whether he/she want to accept the promotion or not. It is not necessary to accept the same if we can't able to follow the new rules and regulations attached with it. If you are rejecting your promotion then there is no harm or any consequences because as it's your sole decision. It even won't affect your pension. But you will loss the extra benefits which were you were going to receive by you if you had accepted the promotion. Even your designation would have also becomes higher. Even you have rejected this promotion but next time you will also get new opportunity of promotion. Keep working hard.

    Hi sir,
In government field all the employees always struggle for promotion. It will be given to employees based on seniority. In promotion your salary will be incremented and designation changes.

By rejecting your promotion offer your promotion will be same as that of present salaries pension. You won't be loss your present pension it will be same.

Another way is accept that offer and go there, after 6 months apply for transfer saying health problems. They will grant you transfer so that your salary incremented and you will be in new position. Most important thing is you can avoid red mark in your service.

    All the best !!

When associate degree worker either government or non-public gets promotion it's rely on him/her whether or not he/she need to simply accept the promotion or not. it's not necessary to simply accept identical if we won't able to follow the new rules and rules connected with it. If you're rejecting your promotion then there's no hurt or any consequences as a result of as it is your sole call. It even will not have an effect on your pension. however you'll loss the additional edges that were you were progressing to receive by you if you had accepted the promotion. Even your designation would have additionally becomes higher. Even you've got rejected this promotion however next time you'll additionally get new chance of promotion. Keep operating onerous.

In government field all the staff perpetually struggle for promotion. it'll run to workers supported seniority. In promotion your remuneration are incremented and designation changes.

By rejecting your promotion supply your promotion are same as that of gift salaries pension. you will not be loss your gift pension it'll be same.

Promotion square measure typically are available the govt service in keeping with your service amount. So, expensive you'll be able to write a letter to your head of the varsity mentioning the acceptable reason for not acceptive the promotion. you'll not be transfer and should be promoted if you're close to the retirement.

    Dear Aspirant,

Congratulations for getting promotion.Actually the promotion is a award given to capable & eligible employees.you should not afraid of leaving the city. You will be working for the students & country only up to age of 60 years. Then after you will retire & can come back to your city.So to my mind advise, you must accept your promotion & join at the new place.

If you do not accept your promotion, you will be loosing your pension to a great extent because the pension is fixed at the last pay drawn by the employees. You will get more pension,if your basic pay at the time of retirement is more.If you accept your promotion, your pay band & grade pay will be enhanced, there by you will be getting more basic pay after promotion which will be increasing till your retirement. Thus your pension will be affected to a great extent.

Also your junior will be senior in case you don't accept your promotion.Besides, you may be given VRS by the govt. in case of refusal of your promotion.

    So think & procced.

    Thanks & good luck.

    Ashok
