    Will it be a problem to take 10 days continuous casual leave?

    I want to take 10 leave so planning to take it as casual leave. Will that be fine? Will it create bad impression for my Manager? or I need to take some other leave as like Medical or Emergency? or I ll drop the plan? but I just need to spend time in home where travel alone takes 4 days. Can you please tell me which will be the better to do now?

    Firstly i think that you should check out that how many casual leaves can you avail this year excluding the ones you have already taken..If you can avail more than 10 casual leaves then its surely ok and you can go forward with your plans..Do check your company policies for the same..

    Now we come to your problem..Now if you have already been an employee of this company for a long time period then i think there should be no problem for you as you would be having a good rapport with your manager and he will surely understand you..But see to it that you dont take such leaves frequently..

    But if you have joined the company recently then i think you shoukld wait for a while for taking such bulk leaves..Or you can talk to your colleagues about how the manager feels about his employees taking bulk leaves..They will surely guide you in the right direction..

    Dear Friend,

    First of all I want to inform you that a company provides CL(Casual Leaves) every month. It may be 1 or2 or more/month as per the companies policies. If you are a new employee in the company, your leaves account may have less leaves. All you need to tell your boss a specific reason to take leaves. He/She will definitely approve them for you. Please make sure that you know the penalty of LWP(Leave with out pay as well). For example, you have 4 CLs in your account and you want 10 leaves then it will be counted as 4 CL+ 6 LWP. As per the company's policy, there will be a deduction of salary of per day + penalty. For new employee, it is not good to take leaves if you don't have a good reason. Take leaves whenever their is any emergency.

    On the other hand, if you are an tenured employee in the company then company provides ELs(Earned Leaves). Company credits earned leaves in your account. It may be 15 and more per year. They update leaves with in every 2 or 3 months. You can simply take those leaves and you will be paid complete salary.

    Firstly Discuss With Colleagues Of Company And Check The How Many Leaves Are Left In Current Year Than Take Any Decision.....

    After That Call Your Manager And Tell Your Problem Means True But In Proper Manner Than I Think Your Manager Also Allow For Leaves.....

    Hay friend....
    At first i can tell that, you should not take so many CL(Casual Leaves) in a month, if there is not some serious region(Medical).. But it depends upon the company, but you should not take more than 2-3 leave.. If you are a new joining then it will more harmful for you.. You should give a Application to the authority..

    Otherwise you should contact and discuss with your Boss and take the advice...

    Hello sir

    It is quite tough to take casual leave for 10 days in any company because normally they provide casual leave for 2-3 days in a month.You can talk to the register department of your company regarding the matter so that they can allow you to take leave for 10 days if it is possible.

    If you have earned leaves that is earned by employee by not taking leave on the optimal time then you are eligible to take Casual leave for 10 days.There are so many leaves available in the company so if it is important work then try to compensate your leaves so that you can easily get 10 days casual leaves

    Dear questioner as far as my knowledge goes there is no provision to take 10 days' casual leave continuously.in state govt.central govt,psu concern do not sanction casual leaves more than 5 days' at a stretch.if the concerned employee need's more leave and like to avail at a stretch with sanctioned leave have to change/convert cl either privilege leave/earned leave ot sick leave now option to concerned employee if he/she wishes sick leave then need's to submit medical certificate along with leave application by the govt.doctor or psu supported doctor.
