Will the joining bonus be recovered if I leave the job after my Probationary Period?

No one is unaware of the joining bonus provision for employees. I joined recently in a MNC company as an Analyst. I was provided a fair amount as the joining bonus. I am on my PB period of 6 months. As I applied for a better option I was cleared in the interview and decided to leave. Will my joining bonus be taken back or not?

    Hi,

Recovery of any amount depends on the policy the company is following....unless the amount paid is excess than eligibility....
It depends on how you have negotiated with the employer while joining regarding the joining bonus...if the same is written anywhere that that type of payments are recoverable if resigned with in ___ days/months.... then the same can be recovered. You have to check the HR policy that the company is following...

Normaly Joining bonus is receoeverd in case the employee leaves within 1 year of service...
