Will I be refunded of amount for the period I have not been appointed by the employer?

I switched to one bank to another. The HR manager said the appointment would come after one month of completion of all the formalities. I have completed all the levels but no response was there from the HR.I left my early job and after 3 months of my resigning HR called me for my appointment letter. Can I claim my loss of 3 months which has been made?

    Hi buddy

I dont think there is any law by which you can claim the amount for the period you have not been appointed by the employer . These delays keep happening everywhere due to some problem or the other. There must be some genuine reason for the delay. But you should not worry about it and can always go and talk to your HR regarding your problem.

Go to your company's office and talk to the HR personally. Tell him that he had promised you to give you the appointment 1 month after completion of the formalities but now you got your appointment after 3 months. During those extra 2 months you have suffered financially due to no income and thus wanted to know if you can ask for Refund of the amount of this period of service. I am sure he will consider what you have to say and if there is some rule regarding this , he may even help you out in this matter.

But dont worry friend now that you have got a permanent job. Work hard and you will surely go places. Good luck friend and thanks
