Will I lose my job if my boss comes to know about my previous termination?

I am working in a government organisation. I havenít told anyone about my termination from my previous company and have hidden it during the interview. But now I am feeling very scared that if someone comes to know about this, what will happen to my job. How to deal with such a situation?

In joining any company an employee signs a contract with the company in which it is written that you are not hiding any information about yourself

and any information about you that you haven't disclosed and can effect your candidature as an employee can lead to your termination from the

    company.

So if you think your termination was due to something that can effect your candidature as an employee of the company than it is possible

that you might get terminated from the company if in future the higher authorities of the company come to know about it.

If the reason for the termination was not big enough than it might be possible that your boss might not take any action against you and remove you

    from the job.

    Hi aspirant

I know that to get a good job you hid this fact from your company and your boss. But you should not have hidden the truth in my opinion and in someway or the other should have told it to your boss. Now if this truth comes to the fore you will definitely be in great trouble and might even lose your job. But you should see to it tht it doesn't get revealed. Also you should make such an impression on your boss that even if he comes to know about thuis sometime , he will not terminate you even then.

Or another option for you is to go and tell the truth to your boss yourself and apologize to him for your mistake . There are some chances that he may pardon you then but if he comes to know about it from someone else he will never pardon you. You should not be afraid of telling him the truth. First you should make friends with him and then when he will start trusting you, then you can reveal this truth to him. I am sure if you apologize then , he will definitrely pardon you. I hope that you get my point.

    Good luck and Thanks

    Hello,

No, You should have told everything during the interview process but since you are too scared to reveal it then
it is better not to say anything unless your collegues know it. Generally, you will not loose your job but your boss
can ask you some uncomfortable questions regarding your previous job. You should be mentally ready to face those
questions at any time. You don't worry too much about past.

    Bye,

Since you have been working under a govt.organisation you are entitled to job security.Govt.job means job security,no fear of losing the job unless you are sent to jail for any reason. You may have been terminated from your previous job,but this cannot effect your present job not even your boss as he doesnot have the power to do so.Only State or Central govt.has the right to sack you ,only in the case if you have been involved in any crime.

    Hello..

Friend, if anyone comes to know about this then yes surely you will have to face some kind of problems but friend its not necessary that your previous termination will affect your talent. Remember one thing that you are there and you will be there because of your talent and your capability of doing work will be the only way that you can survive in your company , if you are good at your work so if anyone comes to know about your termination , nothing will happen to your job if you are good at your work but if your work is not good or as company demands so there is no need of your previous termination letter, so be good at your work and focus on your work. Hope you got my point.

    thanks.

    Dear guest,

Since you have hidden it during your interview I advice you to let it be so even now. Cause the reaction may not be good once they come to know that you were terminated.
Now the action depends on certain things like the reason why you were terminated and so. Besides since you must have submitted the relive from duty note or certificate. So there is nothing left to prove of your termination.
However good luck and keep working hard just in case they come to know of your previous termination, they can't let you go if you are a hardworking chap. An asset... So heads up and work more lively.

    Thank you...

    Hello friend
As you mention that you are donít talk about you previous termination in your current government company. So donít be hesitating because nobody will ask you about your previous working history in many government job. And if someone randomly asked you to about your previously or may be he/she know your previous history then donít worry because in government if a person has a permanent government job then it is difficult to terminate him/her from his/her job. So at last donít worry about it. Only concentrate on your working life.

    Thanking youÖ

    Hello Aspirant,

You need not worry for your past performance. You need not disclose the previous incidents unless it is required, because there may be so many reasons for termination. One of it may be conspiracy against you.

Now you must try your level best not to repeat the mistake for which you have been terminated previously. You must be sincere to your works, behaviour etc.You must be punctual in your duty, must be careful in dealing with others, must respect superiors, must acquire the maximum knowledge pertaining to your job, must complete your work in time, should not room to criticise others.

If you do so,no one will point out your shortcomings. You can be punished for the mistake you commit in the present job.

So be tension free & happy.

    Good luck.

Dear aspirant you are a Govt.Employee often you feel uneasyness as you were terminated from your company job.Because you know nobody know about your termination if your boss knows it then your job may be terminated.

To deal with the situation you have to increase your confidence that you did not do any offence, termination
in PVT.company is a regular common feature so you must not be afraid about this matter. Now you are a Govt.employee ,you are doing secured job, there is no chance of losing your job until yo commit blunder like
due to lack of knowledge ,stealing, rough behaviour with customer as well as with boss without reason. You must avoid such circumstances and be punctual, sincer to you duty then you can not lose your job.

    Thank You,

    Dear,
First of all I need to know that why do you fear?
If you have done anything wrong at your previous organisation and you are terminated, for which you repented, then it is a past thing. The old mistake may not be repeated this time.
So be brave. face the situation. If time comes and you are put to a blame then admit your faults and make everybody assured of your change of character.
If you have not hidden it intentionally during your interview then explain the matter to your bosses or managers.

Do not be scared. Do your present work with more sincerity and devotion, so that you present personality will definitely cover you previous mistakes that caused your termination.

    Bye take care.

    Dear Aspirant,

Congratulations for getting government job. As you know, there are set of procedures to be completed for getting appointed and joining a govt. job. Since you were not needed to reveal the past history of your job to get your new job, you need not worry for your past incidence. As there may be so many reasons for termination, it doesn't mean that you have been terminated due to your fault.

If you perform better in your present job, you may not be asked for about your past things. In general, past history is needed when an employee is caught red handed or charged for any corruption, so try your level best to perform your level best with honesty, punctuality, efficiency and with well behaviour so that all your colleagues and seniors be happy with you and in this situation, no one would like to ask you what happened with you previously. So be confident and happy.

    Thanks and Good Luck.

    Hi,
Yes, you have commit a mistake...This is very clear for any organisation that you should not hide any situation which is detrimental to the company's policy...There is something called ethics...the mistake you have made is not ethical...hence any wrong information provided is unethical and there might be penalty for that...

However, don't be tensed..do your work properly and cencerily so that at least employer will satisfied with your work and try to make situation in such that employer will bound to keep you in company....

This will be done only if you are a good player in the organisation and not the burden...
    Good luck.

Dear you do not need to worry about this situation because there is no problem that if you didn't mention about your previous termination in job and you have hidden this because you thought this will be good for you and you have done the good so you do not need to worry about this problem but if you think that you may get loss in your job after opening this matter in the organization then you should think about the solution and there is only one solution for this matter and that is - Mention to everyone

If you mention about your previous job termination to the boss and in the organization then you will not get the loss and you will not loose your image in the company because fact is fact and that may be of any type that is why first you should let your boss know about this information and share all details with your boss at least because your boss is everything in that company and if you will hide something from your boss then this may affect your job badly that is why do not take risk and see the right time and share this to everyone

    All the best

    Hi,

You should not think about this and concentrate on your present job. It will be better now, not to discuss about that to anyone and try to forget that. Even if anyone come to know about that, it will not be a big issue.

If you are giving your 100% and performing well, no one will sack you.

    Good Luck.

    One should forget one's past.

As for now concentrate on your present and future.

If you have done any fault then you had paid for it as terminating from job.

But now you have started with new job.

So here you have't to do any fault in your work.

If you will walk on proper way then there will be no problem in your current job.

Even if your boss know about your past he will not harm you if you work now fine.

So be positive and work with full dedication for your current work.
