as you have done an MSc in electronic science you will be familiar with some of the languages taught to IT Engineers. you can also apply for similar jobs as IT companies mainly look for students who have the basic logic deduction skills. following this there is a training period wherein you will be taught the various languages and their syntax.

    Hi buddy,

Entry level designation is same for both B.Tech and M.Sc Electronics.

There will be trainings conducted for students from both the fields and you will be given some trainee designation.

Promotion and designation change in most of the I.T companies is performance based and your designation will change accordingly.

    Hope this helps.

    Dear Aspirant

IT sector is a very booming sector in present..

The companies requires candidates who are expert in a specific programming language rather than B.tech or any degree..

Yes you will have the same designation as the engineer ..

You will be given a post called SYSTEM ENGINEER..

For entering the IT sector you need to have a good command over any of the programming language like c, C++,java etc..

You can also go for a short term course for them..

Besides this you require good communication skills also for the job..

    BEST OF LUCK

Dear aspirant-In IT field always absorb students from B.Tech in IT or CSE students they are favourable for software company. In future if a B.Tech acquire MBA he or she can reach up to H/R Manager. But a M.Sc electronics can not reach up to H/R manager label so as per degree is change able in future.

    Thank you,

For freshers , both Btech and Msc electronics get the same designation but in future , there is much wider scope for Btech graduate to be an HR manager if he get a qualification of MBA , while in case of Msc electronics graduate may not get the chance .
So ror entering the IT sector you need to have a good command over any of the programming language like c, C++,java etc..
You can also go for a short term course for them..

    All the best !
