    Hello

I dont think you should try to get the interview date changed as you will then be making a bad impression on the company officials who are going to interview you and that will certainly be not good for you..But if your reason is really urgent and you certainly cant adjust and attend the interview on the applied date, then you can try to change it .. Firstly i think you should try to make time for your interview on the same date as before and certainly try to adjust..
But if you cant do so the best person to talk to will be the HR of the company ..Also see that whether the company has reserved other dates for the interview and if yes then only talk to the HR..Speak to him politely and tell your genuine reason for not being able to attend on the same date as you have earlier selected and thus you want to change the slot..

I am sure he will see reason in your wanting to shift the date and help you in the best way possible..Hope you get through this obstacle..Good luck and Thank you

No you cannot do that. If you value your job then cancel other appointments on the day of the interview.
Do you expect the employers to hire you if you drag even the date of interview for your convinence?? I dont think so..don't even think about it.
If you need the job prepare well and attend the interview on the said date.

    Hey..
First of all it is sad to know that you will not be able to attend the interview on the date given by the company. I will advise you to act smartly and take a wise decision. Incase the situation is inevitable and you simply cannot attend the interview on the gven date then you can request the company to allow you to give the interview on any other date that is convenient to them. But please be prepared to attend the interview on the rescheduled date (whatever be the circumstances). What annoys any comapany the most is the candidate not turning up on the decided date.
You will have to contact the human resource department in this case because it looks after the recruitments. You can send an email as the first step and please make sure that you explicitly explain the reason for you not being able to attend the interview on the decided date. Incase you do not receive a reply then you should call up and visit the company.
Please make sure that you are very polite and apologetic while talking to them. You should try to make them believe that you value their time and resources but your problem is absolutely inevitable. I hope your problem is sorted out and you successfully grab this job.
    All the best. Thank you.

It is good that you try to attend the interview at the given time. But it does not mean that if you don't attend in the interview in the given date you will not be again called for the interview again. If you have other works then you can request the interviewer to give you another date for the same. There is no harm in that and it will not effect your job prospects. but while you request for a time change you have to give them a proper explanation and you should be very polite for the same. You should make them believe that you are not lieing.

The person to whom you have to request is the person who is going to interview you.

    May god bless you.

    Yes. You can .

If you are a experienced candidate, then the companies will itself give you the choice of when you come for the Interview.

On the basis of that, they will schedule your interview.

But make sure that you present for the interview on that date.

If it is necessary, you can ask for change of Interview date also.

But better if you intimate this well in advance.

    Hello friend,
It is not good to ask to change you Interview date if the case where you definitely have any other important work you may call the respective manager and say your problem to him.If he thinks it to be genuine then he may change your date but please for small and silly reasons don't look for changing the interview date.Because,The manager wants his job as the priority when compared to any of the works of his employees if you put silly reasons before him he would thinks you may be disinterested or not a guy who he is looking for so,it is better to continue with the appropriate date.

    hi friend,

its not correct asking to change the interview date because everything will be pre-planned and also if you ask like this they will consider as you are not responsible for your career.

also you may not be prepared.

don't ask them any interviewer to change the date of the interview at any cost.if you have any serious problem don't go for that interview if it starts from the first round otherwise if you completed some rounds and then the final round inform them about the problem you have.if it is considerable then they may give a chance for you coming on some other day for the interview.

    all the best
    regards srilekha

I dont assume you ought to attempt to get the interview date modified as you may then be creating a foul impression on the corporate officers UN agency square measure aiming to interview you which will definitely be not smart for you..But if your reason is basically imperative and you actually cant alter and attend the interview on the applied date, then you'll attempt to amendment it .. first off i believe you ought to attempt to create time for your interview on a similar date as before and definitely attempt to alter..
however if you cant do therefore the best person to speak to are the unit of time of the corporate ..Also see that whether or not the corporate has reserved different dates for the interview and if affirmative then solely talk over with the unit of time..Speak to him with courtesy and tell your real reason for not having the ability to attend on a similar date as you've got earlier elite and therefore you would like to vary the slot..

i'm certain he can see reason in your needing to shift the date and assist you within the best means doable..Hope you get through this obstacle.
No you can not do this. If you price your job then cancel different appointments on the day of the interview.
does one expect the employers to rent you if you drag even the date of interview for your convinence?? I dont assume thus..don't even rely on it.
If you wish the work prepare well and attend the interview on the aforesaid date.
First of all it's unhappy to grasp that you just won't be able to attend the interview on the date given by the corporate. i will be able to advise you to act well and take a wise call. encase matters is inevitable and you merely cannot attend the interview on the gven date then you'll request the corporate to permit you to allow the interview on the other date that's convenient to them. however please be ready to attend the interview on the rescheduled date (whatever be the circumstances). What annoys any comapany the foremost is that the candidate not turning au fait the set date.
you may ought to contact the human resource department during this case as a result of it's when the recruitments. you'll send associate degree email because the commencement and please certify that you just expressly justify the explanation for you not having the ability to attend the interview on the set date. encase you are doing not receive a reply then you ought to decision up and visit the corporate.
Please certify that you just square measure terribly polite and apologetic whereas lecture them. you ought to attempt to create them believe that you just price their time and resources however your downside is completely inevitable. I hope your downside is sorted out and you with success grab this job.
It is not smart to raise to vary you Interview date if the case wherever you certainly have the other vital work you'll decision the individual manager and say your downside to him.If he thinks it to be real then he might amendment your date however please for little and silly reasons do not rummage around for ever-changing the interview date.Because,The manager desires his job because the priority compared to any of the works of his staff if you set silly reasons before him he would thinks you'll be impartial or not a man UN agency he's yearning for thus,it is higher to continue with the suitable date.

    Hello Friend,
Its not possible to change interview date rather its better if you dont.
if you change the interview date then you are questionable for the reason and if the reason does not seem convincing then your chance will be gone straight away.
apart from that a company only entertain this only if they have another interview in near future for the same batches.
but you cant do it frequently.
i govt jobs where all india candidates are involved and where interviews are conducted in phases(like defence sector,UPSC exams.etc),there you may have this advantage of date change .
they will assign you another date as per your convenience.
    thank you

    Hi friend,
Yes you can change your interview date. If you are a experienced candidate then HR will call you and asks you which will be the convient time for you to attend interview.
Based on that they will schedule interview.
If you are a fresher , it is not possible. You have to attend on the alloted time slot.

    All the best!!

    Dear Aspirant,

Now a days It is a era of competition. There are many candidates in queue for a single post.In this situation It seems not possible to get your interview date changed by the company. However It depends upon the level of company & the job for which you have applied. If your concerned company is not up to the level,It may entertain your request to change the date of interview for you. There are many fields where there is no competiton & also there are some area of appointment where there are shortage of candidates. In this situation you can get your interview date changed by the comapny.

In the situation stated above you are advised to contact over phone,if you have the phone number,to the manager HR of the company or you can send your mail to the company mail address. Also send a registered letter with the proof of your urgency like medical certificate to the company address addressed to the head of the company of the manager HR.

At the same time you need not worry for the situation. If you are capable, you will have many chances to get job.

Hope for your reponse in the prevailing situation.

    Thanks & good luck.

    Ashok

    Hi,
See there is nothing wrong in it.
But you should have a valid reason for changing the date.
And it also depends on the company management about what they think on this issue.
If they have kept a fixed day for all the candidates, then its difficult that they will listen to you.
There's nothing wrong in asking them.
If luck is your side, then you'll receive a good news.

    Good Luck!
