Will completing my post graduation over a very long time period affect my future?

I am going to complete my PG in M.Sc Physics. But due to some family problems and a major operation I have taken almost 4 years to complete my PG degree. Will this be bad for my future and my career. Please guide me in the right direction.

    Hello,

No, it will not affect your career. Our difficult times teaches us valuable lesson
in life. You should upload your resume to survey portals like Naukry.Com, Shine,
IndiaTimes.Com and Monster India. To do that you have to register your profile
with them. Submit your resume with your phtograph and wait sometimes for the
prospective interviewresto contact you. Never loose hope.

    Bye,

    Hello Aspirant,

The PG course is of two years either through correspodence or through regular classes. When you are not able to do it in the time stipulated, definitely it is a negative points in your educational life. But you can over come this problem after success in your NET exam.If you do it with JRF,the short comings can be neutralised for making career in teaching line.If you succeed in NET with JRF after your M.Sc in Physics, you will be enrollrd for Ph.D which will lead to be a Asst. Professor in a constituent college.

Since you are doing post graduation, you can write many competitions either for UPSC or state service commission for direct job which is highly respectful such as IAS/IPS/IFS etc on the basis of graduation degree.

So carry on your course & need not worry for your future. When ever you are asked for delay in completing your PG couse you can say the same reason for which you delayed it
    .

    Good luck.

There is no need to worry. In the present competitive world your long time course duration doesn't affect much if you are creative and expert in that field also take care that you complete your work with in time from now on wards.

    dear friend,,
    as i know,talent matters more.
if you have the talent ,good skills you can run better ,that is,nowadays companies and other sector are searching for much talented peoples.
so,you should not worry for it.
yes, obviously your 2 years time has been ruined but it was not in your hand.also you have medical ground for your 2 years late.
so,instead of worry you should labour hard so that you become unique in your talent and skills.
    good luck!!!
