Will availing my maternity leave have any effect on my job?

I am working in a software company. I have joined my job 6 months ago. Now I am under lot of work pressure as mine is a post of high responsibility. But I have to avail my maternity leave right now as advised by my doctor. Will this affect my job in any way? Please guide me in the right direction.

As you are saying that it is advised by your doctor so it is better that you follow his instructions.

You cannot put your health at sake for any reasons.

Also it is normal thing to avail those leave as it is genuine reason, and every company/boss understands it.

So it should not affect your job because you are not asking leave for unnecessary reasons.

You can also remain in contact with your work through various communication facilities which you can tell your boss when taking leave.

This will also keep you updated about the current things happening in the organisation, thus will make you tension free on this part.

    Hello,

No, it will not affect your your job. Just relaxed and stay happy as too much
stress can harm your health. Job and maternity are the birds of different feathers
so you should not be thinking about that just think abot your baby and your health.
Job will take care itself in the future so be happy.

    Bye,

    Hi,

This is the reason now a days when companies are appointing any newly wed women, they ask for the meternity issue..company has some obligations...thoughh your job will not impact as it is a case of maternity...
Don't worry go for the leave and don't be tensed for the job... if something happen then you will certainly get another....but due to that you can't be taken any risk for the baby..its your baby and yiu have to be more cautious...
    Congrates in advance..
