    Why are employees sexually harassed in professional environment?

    More than eight female left the organization because of sexual harassment from the company managing director. I too had a bad experience in this company. He would purposely make an issue and blame employees. He doesn’t know how to take care of his employees. He treats everyone as his labors. Recently he removed a person who worked for more than 2 years, without giving a prior notice. With making false abuses that too within a day. Please tell me what action can be taken against such managers

    Well we all have the right to get employeed if we fulfill the required qualification and we all have the right to work under pleasant working environment. So if there is any one else who try to deprive us from our rights he/she should be charged for violating constitutional and humanitarian norms. Actually its a crime, and the charge can be more decisive when the victim is a female. You should not hold back anymore, take your stand and demand for your rights against such managers. When we get employeed in a company or any other organisation the 'terms and conditions' of the company with which we agree to cooperate does not mention anything about the right of the managers to harass the workers and no company will allow such powers of the managers. So there is no way the company will support the manager in such issues, stand up bravely for the right cause. Don't let the thought of losing the job take you aback because its not you who will loss the job but it will be the culprit who losses the job. And even if you loss the job its okay because when your sacrifice is for a good cause you will set an example to others and you will be the true winner. You should let the higher authority know about the grievances faced by the employees at the hands of the manager, they will surely take the matter seriously. You can even go to the extend of seeking the help of government bodies and NGOs to look into the matter. Good luck.

    Dear..

    Sexually harassing anybody at the workplace is strictly prohibited in our country. Though we do not have a Law for this but it is prohibited every where. The step that you can take to overcome this situation is given below :-

    Speak up against it :- In man cases due to various reason people do not speak against this and ultimately it worsen the situation and help the the person who is sexually harassing other people. By this you can make a picture in the mind of the offender that you are against it and if something happens then surely you gonna oppose it. It might change his behavior. If this trick fails then

    Talk to your HR or seniors against it and tell them to take an appropriate action against the person. If nothing happen then you can file a case against that person or take the matter to the organization who works for human right.

    This will surely help you

    Hello Aspirant,

    It is very bad to learn the situations.The managing director is misutilising his power because the employees have no any unity.If you form unity among yourself,you can go against the concerned authority jointly & legally.

    Any how the matter must be taken seriously.You must report to the chairman of the company jointly.If you don't get accompany,try to leave the company after getting good job.you can not have any moral to work in this type of situation.

    So see the situation & proceed accordingly.
