    Why different salary structures for same profile?

    I am not sure about government organisations but when it comes to private organisations than it has been seen that the salary packages are different for the same profile. But does it happen when two different employees are asked to do the same job?

    Dear Aspirant,

    It all depends upon the policy of the company to give different salary to the employees having same profile.In govt.organisation It is not applicable.Since the procedure & qualification required for a particular profile is same,the salary structure for a particular profile is also same.

    The selection procedure is not same in the pvt.company as of govt.organisation,the salary package may be different to the employees having same profile.For example,the employee selected through in campus this year may get more salary package than the employee selected last year.There is no control of govt.over such matter in pvt.company.

    Hello Aspirant,

    The salary for the employees with same profile in govt.organisation is same,because the salary is fixed by the govt.for a particular post irrespective of qualification where as it is not alike in the pvt.organisation.The main reason is that the pvt.organisations mainly concerned with the production,Sales,marketing,research & services where as the govt.organisations are also concerned with the administration.

    The pvt.organisations are free to adopt the policy of human resources as to its selection,training,promotion & salary package etc.The pvt. organisations act like a business organisation which is not applicable to govt. organisations.The govt.organisations serves for the welfare of the people.

    So depending upon the policy of the pvt.companies,there may be different salaries for the same profile of the employees.

    In private organisation the most important thing for the company is the work output of the employee and the benefit of that to the company.

    If two persons are working on same profile in the company than it can happen that one gets more than other.

    This can be based on various factors like depending on qualification, experience or performance.

    The more talented the employee is more he can deliver and thus will have more importance as an employee in the office hierarchy.

    Thus if two persons working in same profile in which one is far better performer than other that company will definitely reward him for his work in terms of salary

    or any other benefits so that they can employee remains motivated to deliver his best

    If the employees are working in different companies than the major reason behind the salary difference is the infrastructure and type of the company.

    Thus bigger the company higher the salary will be given depending on the companies standard.

    dear friend

    in private firms there may be different ways to hire different persons
    for same profile. they differ the salary structure for the same profile
    employee by looking at their qualification
    then performance, there response in the interview
    so dont worry about this just perform well
