    Why is annual increment interviews held?

    I am not working in any one of corporate but somehow came to know about certain things related to recruitment and increments. I came across one fact that at the time of annual increment which a but obvious thing with any corporate concern, holds increment interviews. Will the candidate not be eligible if he fails in it?

    Hi,

    Annual Apprisal can be termed as annual increment interviews.....This is done to assess an employee regarding the performance what they have performed aagainst the KRA set for the employees...

    Hence there is no pass and fail in it....if you have performed well you can be rated better then others, or else your rating will fall...

    Hello Aspirant,

    It is true that both the govt. & pvt. organisations follow certain procedures to sanction the annual increment to the employees.The purpose is to maintain the quality of the employees.

    An annual increment interview is conducted before sanctioning the annual increments to the employees in order to see the interest of the employees towards work,for development of the company,what experience so far the employees have got,what opinion the employees are having for the company etc.

    If such restriction is not followed in the company,the employees will feel as a right to sanction the annual increment.In such case the employees will least bother for the development of the company.

    It is not so difficult to get through the interview.If you are really interested in yourself for the works & development of the company,you will easily get through the said interview.See how others are working successfully in those corporate area.

    So need worry for the matter concerned above.
