To whom shall I ask for my payment after our company was sold to another company?

I was working as a supervisor in this company. But due to some hindrances from powerful people the owner thought it would be wise to sell the company to a bigger company instead of wasting money in handling such people. I was given the option to transition to this company at my same salary for 2 months and then to be paid by that company's methods. I was happy at that moment but now when I asked for my previous month's payment no one is taking the responsibility. They are saying this was not in the contract that I have signed. I do need help on this regard, Please suggest some initiatives.

    Dear Aspirant,

The situation is not good with you.It all depends upon the contract made between the two companies.Since the assets have been handed over to the new company,it is the responsibilities of the new company to pay the payment to all employees,if it is mentioned in the contract paper signed between the two companies.

Since you don't have any thing in written from the previous employer regarding your adjustment in the new company,It is very difficult to fight against the situation. Now you have left only one option to search for another job.If you have unity among employees, you can send a pleader notice to the previous employer & also you can call on a strike in the present company otherwise you should try to get a new job.

    Thanks & good luck.
