Whether wearing casual clothes to my workplace create a bad impression on my boss?

I am working in a government organisation. Our company has no policy regarding what to wear to our workplace. But I have noticed that most of the employees wear formal clothes as they believe that it creates a good impression on the boss. But I donít feel comfortable wearing formals. Will it create a bad impression if I wear casual clothes to my workplace?

    Hello...

It is always not necessary to make clear of the rules and regulations at any organisations..!!

It is we who need to think in a professional manner, and decide to behave in a civilised way...

So I think you have to opt for the formals, though you are not intimated...

And when everybody are preferring for formals, even you should opt for the same... Else you will be like 'Odd man out' ..

    Hope this will help you..

    ThanQ...

Hello, You have asked a good question. But let me tell you it is always good to wear formal clothes in office. This is because of the simple reason that office itself is a formal place. So you should wear that will suit your purpose.Wearing formal wear is not for the sake of impressing the boss, but for the fact that it is a habitual practice to wear formal wear in office.Casual wear is ok for official parties and other purposes.

You can wear your casual dress at your work place if dress code is not set up in your office otherwise it can create a bad impression on your boss.

There is also a way to wear a casual dress you have to wear in your workplace.

    1] Light coloured shirts

2] Small dotted or cross lines tie

3] black or dark grey coloured pants

    4] Black or brown shoes

that's make a good impression on your boss.

    Thank you............

    Hi friend.........

There is no problem in wearing the casual clothes at work place if they have not set up any dress code for the office timings.
Therefore free feel to wear the casual clothing's while going onto the work and make yourself comfortable.
And stop worrying about the people in the office and their gossips, because whatever different youíll do, people will talk about or against you.
Therefore donít feel sad and wear whatever which makes you comfortable and happy.

    Thanks!!!
    ALL THE BEST............

Dress is an integral part of an individual's personality.Dress reflects many traits about the individual. The way of dressing, the choice of the colours, the effort of looking sober and the way of carrying the dress well depicts various things about the individual. It depicts the presence of mid of the individual,his/her awareness about the surroundings, understanding the situations and to handle and adjust to various sort of situations.

Although there is no harm in wearing casual wear in your office but you should first make sure that there is no such bar of dress code in your office. If there is some restriction on the dress code, you should not wear casuals rather you should follow thee dress code strictly. However, you should keep in mind that the professional world does not regard casual wear as a part of an efficient and responsible professional.

Hence it will be better if you do not wear casual wear in the office premises. It may create bad impression in the mind of not only your boss but also other senior employees. Moreover, you should look like a professional in the office and when representing your office before any client. So it is advisable to wear formals.Always remember that an individual looks more sober in formals as compared to the casuals. Moreover,it is a sign of respect for the person you are interacting to in the professional world. Moreover it would be a odd look if you only wear casual while others wear formals. So,better go for the formals.

Generally formals are prefered as uniform at any working place no matter whether it is a private sector or government sector....
And at your organisation all your colleagues are wearing formals so you should also wear the formals...
But if there is no fixed dress code in that organisation then you can wear the casuals also..
Because in that case no one can object that you are violating the rules of the company...
So, don't think that what others are thinking about you, do that in which you fill comfortable...
If possible then try to wear the formals otherwise you can wear casuals also...
