    Whether having 2 years experience as a Lecturer will be counted for CAT? Getting 98 percentile will help in getting a seat in IIMs

    does a lecturer with 2years of experience is considered as work experience and getting 98 percentile in CAT helps in getting seat in IIM's and other best B-schools

    Min eligibilty to Sit in the CAT exams is-Graduation pass with Min 50% marks
    45% marks for SC/ST candidates

    Last date to fill CAT 2012 exams is 19th Sep 2012
    CAT 2012 exams will be held from 11th Oct 2012 to 6th Nov 2012

    For IIM ahemedabad min percentile required to get calls is 99 percentile
    For other IIM if you get between 95 to 98 percentile you will get interview calls

    At Most IIM, 70% weightage is given to your CAT score and
    Rest
    30% weightage is given to your marks scored at 10th,12th,Graduation
    Also weightage is given work experience and any masters degree you have done.

    So your experience will get weightage at the interview stage

    hello aspirant your percentile is good and also eligible for top iim institution of Ahmadabad but its depends on exam Quality of written exam of CAT.as being a lecturer in currently or past has an advantage but it will be count in interview phase not in written.CAT percentile is asked when you deserve the seat probably in institution that calls for interview.you should try to other IIM then IIM A.thanks

    All ways Experience is more advantages for us.

    so 2 years of exp is more helpful to you

    first of all prepare good for your entrance exam

    join the good training center for CAT exam

    70% weight age goes to you CAT score

    30% goes to 10th,10+2,graduation

    also they will given weight age to your experience also
