    What should we do if an employee is told to resign at the time of renewal contract instead of renewing it?

    I am working as a technical assistant in this company. I was taken on contract basis for one year. My contract was on the rage of getting over and I had applied for renewal as informed by my HR at the time of joining. But instead of renewing my contract they are telling me to leave the company? There double loss in this. Neither I will get the salary nor will my contract be renewed. What should I do in this case? Please suggest

    If your contract specified that at the end of one year of the contract it will be company's decision to renew the contract or not, than company has taken the decision not to renew the contract and as a result of this you have been asked to leave.

    You cannot do much in this regard as company has done things as per the rules.
    It is not mandatory that all employees contract will be renewed after the expiry of the contract period.

    So i would suggest that instead of thinking about this job, you should start looking for a new job.
    Now you have one year experience as well, you will get job sin the market.

    Dear Aspirant,

    since you were appointed on the contract basis for one year,that is going to be completed now,you must make your mind to leave the job when the company is not in need of you.Get the experience certificate & get your all accounts settled in time.Better you try for another job.Now you are in better position than previous because of experience of one year of service.In practical,according to judging the psychology of the people,some people use to tell something which may not be true in life.You should believe in writting.

    I hope you will get better job soon.

    Dear Aspirant

    You cant do much in this as you were recruited on a contract basis..

    So it is the company to decide whether to renew the contract or not the reasons can be shortage of jobs or they don want you..

    But you are at a good position as you have a one experience now so you can go for a better job..


    So be practical

    get the experience certificate from them and apply for a job..

    You will get a good job than the previous one..
