What should I do if Boss feels that I am running away from financial year ending audits?

Recently, my boss asked me about my maternity leave plans. He feels that I am running away from financial year ending audits. I worried about my health due to the mounting work pressure and indifference from management. What should I do?

    Hi aspirant

You should definitely take care of your health during this period and not worry about other things at all. your health should be your topmost priorty at this moment and you should not care or give any importance to your boss at all. You should see to it that you avail your maternity leave at the right time, irrespective of whatever youir boss is telling you to do. Your boss should try and understand your problem and should not behave with you in such a manner.

You should straightforward tell your boss that you are not running away from financial year ending audit. You are prgant and thus worried about your health as your doctor has advised you not to take so much stress. so you want to avail your maternity leave right now and thus make it sure that you have a safe and healthy delivery. You hope that he will try and understnad your condition. You cannot take so much stress at this time and thus will not be able to attend the audit . so you hope he will grant you your leave without any more fuss.

I am sure your boss will understand you. Good luck friend
