    What should be done when one of your colleagues is always acting against you?

    I am working in a government organisation. One of my colleagues has something against me, which I am unaware of , and thus he always keeps giving his false views on my performance to the boss. He is bossís favourite and this has made life hell for me at my workplace. What should be done in such a situation?

    Hello friend,
    Its a really very tough issue. But in such case you should be very clear with your views. You should talk directly with the colleague and also with your boss regarding on this topic. In spite of these rumors against you, you should be mainly concentrated on your work and give your best. Because flatter never counts and what count is your work. Also try to be very polite with other colleagues, so that at least they will be on your side and can help in convincing the boss.
    If you too want to become boss favorite then you should first work with all your effort and also help in your boss personal works and always keep in contact with him.

    Hi, This happens with many of us as this is a common trend in today's corporate life. All you need to do is ignore the annoying attitude of your colleague and be driven by a strong will to perform extraordinarily well so that the quality work could speak volumes about your hard work and commitment and the jealous colleague of yours could not get an opportunity to take out errors in your work. My dear friend, nothing is impossible in this world if you have the desire and a strong will to do. So, mould your anger and frustration into an effective and constructive weapon to prove yourself as an extraordinary employee and let your work speak for you against the ill practice of the colleague who has made your life hell at work place. Remember one thing - Your knowledge and self determination can only allow you to achieve your goals and show you as a successful person. These gossips and back biting do not last for a longer period of time but fade away from an individual's fragile mind when he/she gets to see reality in life. Likewise, when your boss would get to see your real worth, then he is sure to forget all the cooked up stories of your colleague and would start liking and admiring you for your hard work which I am sure would leave a lasting impression in his mind.     If your colleague is a rival the leave them alone because if you tries to change them then also they will not change because they have some ego problem in them.
    If he is very cruel then you need to call him and sit with him and talk related to this because all this happens because of misunderstanding as if there will be any of the misunderstanding then it will become clear after the same.
    so you must try to handle this matter very smartly so that your colleague will never think that you are a person who is trying to find the fact about the behaviour because he will never expose the things which he do from inside.
    So you can find many of the ways to find the truth behind the same.
    You need to coinduct the party in your home or in a restaurant and invite the colleague as well if they also come then you can give them the special treat so that their thinking towards you will be changed.
    So change the thinking rather that changing the person.

    hello friend
    what you have to do is that don't think about the others and just concentrated on your will but if still the employee will didn't change her/his behaviour then talk to your boss and tell him/her that take a necessary step on this problem otherwise i have to file against complaint application on both of you and then i will send it to our higher authority.
