What should be done with an employee who constantly bothers me for giving him a promotion?

I am the manager of a MNC. One of our employees has a very bad habit of constantly bothering me and the other officials when the promotions are around the corner. We have always told him to work hard and improve his performance but he never does that. How to deal with such an employee?

Sir you are the boss of that company means everything is in your hand and if anybody comes to you again and again and ask for promotion then you should not respond him about the promotion and tell him only once that you must keep your performance up and try to improve the quality of your work because management is not looking any chance for increment in your previous working profile and there is no chance for you to get increment at this time because our selection committee found issues in your working status and that is why you are not deserved person for increment and promotion at this time and if you want to get promoted then first of all you should concentrate on your work and at your performance because these things are most compulsory to get promotion and do not come here again and again to ask for promotion because this is making negative effect in the office and this is not good attitude shown by you in the office that is why think about your future and work and go to your work, complete your all tasks on time

If he comes again then you should select a hard work or any huge task and give him and tell him that if you will complete this work and this task before the fixed time then you may be shortlisted for the promotion but if you could not then you will not get hikes and promotion in your job

    All the best

See you are the boss of the company and it is your duty to constantly motivate an employee and simultaneously give punishment if not performing

    well.

So if you think that the employee is not performing well and instead asking for promotion than you should clearly communicate him and tell him that his

work is not upto mark. And if he wants a promotion than he should bring himself to that level where he might be considered for promotion.

You should be strict and you must send him a clear message that without working hard he is not going to get what he wants.

Instead if you find it irritating and if he doesn't understands what you want from him than make him clear that you will demote him in place of

promotion. This will automatically make him clear that his position is not at all right to ask for the promotion and thus will not bother you for it in the

    future.

    Hi friend,

I think you must keep your performance up and try to improve the quality of your work.
Management is not looking any chance for increment in your previous working profile and there is no chance for you to get increment at this time
Because our selection committee found issues in your working status and that is why you are not deserved person for increment and promotion at this time .
If you want to get promoted then first of all .
you should concentrate on your work and at your performance because these things are most compulsory to get promotion .
Do not come here again and again to ask for promotion.

    Thanks!!!

    ALL THE BEST................
