What shall I do if my previous company is not paying me my pending salary and neither issuing me my relieving letter?

I have left my prior job with due notification of 1 month and training of new employee. But the company is not paying my 2 month salary and not even sanctioning my relieving letter. My current company has given me a notice of 1 month that either my relieving letter should be submitted A.S.A.P to HR department or the company will ask for my resignation. What shall I do?

You say that you have left your job two month back. . .it is duty to ask for two month salary. .even now you did not receive your salary so i suggest you to make a written request letter to your human resource manager. .if no positive result take this matter to your director of that company. . . .good luck. . .let us hope for the best. . .

Hi.. This is getting really very serious and you should take action as soon as possible as its about your future and you should not sit quietly..

Go to your previous company's office and tell them that you have completed all the formalities and you want your relieving letter as soon as possible as your new employers want it immediately..Warn them that if they dont provide you with it you will take a Legal action against them for their behaviour..

I sure think they will respond to you..

If they still dont do anything file a police complaint against them and send a legal notice..

Do whatever possible in your capability to teach them a lesson and also to retain your new job..

    Best of luck... Thanks )

Hi..This is certainly not fair and you are surely suffering at the hands of your previous company..You should not let them take advantage of you and thus must do something soon to get your new job out of danger..Thus you should act quickly so that your job and your future both are safe..

Firstly you must go and sue your previous company for not providing you with your experience letter even after you have completed your formalities ..Go and consult your lawyer regarding this ..Firstly warn thet if they dont give you justice soon by providing you 2 months salary and relieving letter as your new job is in danger..

I am sure they will act on your advice and give you full justice..Otherwise sue them and tell your new company that you have taken action against your previous employers and will get your letter soon..

In this way i hope you will save your job..Good luck

    Happy Diwali.. Thanks
