    What are the rating factors for an employee annual appraisal

    Hi can somebody tell the rating factors applicable for a employee annual appraisal. What is the percentage hike for each rating level. And what are all things considered for the appraisal and who all is engaged in completing a employee appraisal process. Is there chances of giving more hike to a known person and less hike to unknown persons or due to vengeance.

    Hello Friend,
    there are many factors are taken into consideration when giving appraisal.i am listing few of them
    1-Performance over the year.
    2-contribution towards project improvement and knowledge improvement.
    3-adhering to given time frame to complete the project with quality.
    4-involvement in team movements and attending all meetings...etc
    5-cordination with team members and your behaviour in team.
    6-contribution towards company
    ....etc there are many other rating qualities are there which are considered before appraisal
    but you need to know that there is an HR cycle which a manager needs to maintain ,I.e he cant give top grades to all .few will get top ratings and mostly in avg and few also in lower rating.
    so as per the performance you will be rated .

    Following factors will decide the annual appraisal of an employee-

    1 Overall performance during year

    2 Reaching office in time,if getting late then telling proper reason

    3 No of assignment completed in a year in time

    4 Behaviors with others

    5 No of meetings attended and missed

    There are other factors which vary from company to company.
