What is the percentage of PF that the company deducts from the employees monthly income?

I see in payslip every month that some amount of PF is deducted. What is the percentage that is deducted from our salary. Is it decided by the government. Is the PF amount deducted from the employees salary or even from the employers salary? What is the total percentage of employer and employees salary that is deducted every month?

Cool Re: What is the percentage of PF that the company deducts from the employees monthly income?

    Hi,

Provident Fund is the main component in Salary Structure

PF is the Scheme introduced for the benefit of employees after their service retirement

PF amount deduction percentage varies for each company both public and private sector

Also PF amount is deducted based on the salary every month

We can even declare to take more amount of money for PF from salary of we are interested with some deadlines

Employers also contribute the PF amount along with salary deduction from employee

All together only , the employee gets PF amount at retirement

    Thanks !!!!!

    Hello

You must be having a specific amount of money as salary every month.

So that it even out and you get your promised package in 12 months .

According to this, sum of 12% of Amount is deduced from the Total Salary of the Employee

It doesnt vary much from company to company just that some company add a little extra and save it for you.

You can always withdraw it after you resign from that that company. You will get the total amount of money with interest

    Thank you
