What is the minimum salary that should be paid to fresher as per government rule?

I have completed my B.Sc in biology and joined in the hospital as a lab assistance. I am getting salary as Rs. 4500/ month. This salary seems to be very low to me. I want to know minimum salary as per government rule for fresher. Does it differ on the basis of job profile and education? please help.

Dear candidate now a days most of the states are issuing appointment letter under fixed basis say per month 5k to 6k they are to draw fixed amount until and unless they are treated as permanent employee.

But in case of central govt/pvt undertaking the freshers salary to be paid to a assitant category is as low as rs.15000/- pm.as per govt.rule a govt.employee servs as assistant draws minimum salary around rs.15000/-

    thank you,

    hi friend,

Salary does depend on the job profile and the education that you have had.

For the education level of 12th standard the salary would be 4000/- to 8000/-

For the education level of degree the standard of salary would be 8000/- to 15,000/-

For the education level of graduation or post graduation it would be 15,000/- to 25,000/-

As you have joined the hospital as the lab assistant you need to get the minimum salary of 6,000 to 8000/- rupees.

Do ask your hospital higher officials for the salary increase as it would be difficult to lead a life.

You can get better job oppurtuinites if you go for M.Sc in biology and the salary would also be more.

You can go through many websites and employment newspaper in order to get the details regarding the salary and also the requirement.

    all the best.

    thanking you....

There is no such criteria like minimum salary.
As you have joined the job accepting all the terms and conditions(including the salary ) so there is nothing much you can do about it
You can try for some other place who are providing you better pay

    dear friend ,

it is depend on the post you apply for . It is mention in the advertisement when job vacancies are out.

There is no such rule for fresher. And not depends on education.

It totally depends on the post . For particular post there is a rule for salary fixed by govt. Which is mention in the time of recruitment.

    Thank you !!!!!

According to government rule the salary given to fresher is around 7000 Rs per month for B.sc or lab assistance but it increases with the time.
when ever you become the permanent employee then your salary become around 15000-20000 Rs per month.

    Dear Aspirant,

The salary of the employee depends upon the post at which you are working. It does not depend merely on the qualification. If the post is on the graduation level & the appointment is regular under the govt.,the minimum starting salary of the employee will be about Rs 21000/per month. But now a days the most of the govts.are giving the employment on the contract basis in which a fixed amount is paid to the employee per month. So see the terms & conditions of your appointment.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Salary ranges are not fixed by the govt

It depends on the organisation decision

You can do Msc in biology because nowadays bsc is been normal

To get good job and pay double degree is the best choice

Also if you wanna work in hospitals labs you can do diploma in pharma , medicine courses

Look for good centres that provides these courses with campus

    All the best

    Hello,

I dont think there is any govt. rule for salary.

Generally in govt jobs the starting salary is 5000/-

It depends on the type of job.

but your salary seems to be very low .

so you should ask your employer to increase your salary.

    Thank you

    • The government rules does not applies to the private organisation in regard deciding the salary factor.
    • The salary of yours will be decided by the respective organisation under which you are joing letter.
    • Since you are an fresher the salary of Rs.4500 per month is not good but it remains Okay.
    • If you were working in the government organisation, the salary would depends upon your education qualification and the experience.
    • You must talk with your employer regarding the increment in the salary.
    • or You must try to find out the job where you will have better salary.

    Dear Friend

The government job is a very good job but the state government intakes a fresher on temporary basis so it pays only around 5k pm during the period and when you become permanent it will give 14,500 pm..

The central government employees being a fresher gets a min start of 14500 as a graduate candidate..

As you are a state government employee so you will get this amount in the temporary period after that it will increase the temporary period is generally 2 years..

    ALL THE BEST
