What kind of person's reference should be given in resume?

I am in my third year of engineering course in ECE. From next year onwards I have to appear for various interviews. As a result I have to submit resume. I have a confusion as to what kind of person's reference should be given in the resume. Will it be good to mention the reference of teachers?

Dear aspirant, as per your statement you are an ECE 3rd engineer from next year you have to appear for various interviews accordingly you are to prepare resume and also to submit it toward various places as per your need to get jobs. But you are still in problem you are thinking whom you mention as your referee in the resume, will it be good to mention the name of teachers'.

1.A reference serve the purpose of candidate's background about education/character/family status so to enhance the resume's beauty you are to mention the name who have the self reputation within the station of 5 kilometer at least.

2.It help's employer regarding your character and familiarity within the locality, also ascertain that you have no criminal background against you.

3.Though reference is not mandatory to create resume if you have the opportunity to get a reference from a person who have the reputation in and around your city you can mention to achieve extra privilege at the interview board.

    Thank You,

    Hi..............,

Reference in a resume is not essential.
It just provides surety of you by third person.
You can provide reference of any such person who is already working in that company.
Reference person may hold any post in that company.
Reference person must not have any due claim on him.

    Thanks

    Hi aspirant

As you are a fresher , I don't think you need to mention any kind of reference in your resume. As you haven't worked previously, so ofcourse you cannot give the reference of any of your previous employesrs who have a good impression about your work. But as you know that mentioning references make your resume more impressive , so if you want you can give the reference of your teachers as this will certainly give you an edge over others who haven't mentioned any references in their resume.

The teachers with whom you have good rapport can certainly be mentioned as references in your resume. Make sure that they have no isues with you as this can cost you dearly later on. So friend try to make your resume as impressive as possible so that you can make a good first impression on your interviewer. Also keep your resume as short as possible, around 2-3 pages, and if possible get the help of a professional resume maker.

Prepare well for your interview and I am sure you are going to have a very bright future indeed. Good luck friend and Thanks

Hello friend you need employee references when you apply a job in MNC companies. In most of the company they need candidates who has a references then the next company give preferences to them. Each company has recruitment which is given for the employee reference. If you apply for a job in companies like CTS, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc you need a particular employer reference to get a most preferences to you. You can add your employee reference details in your resume. You can easily get employee references through relatives, friends, online chatting, etc. You may also contact HR managers for employee references. All the best.....

    Dear Aspirant,

You need not worry for it much. Now it is time to study well. There will be in-campus selection in the 7th semester of your course. You will be guided in due time to prepare a good resume by the placement section of your college. However, you should give the names of those persons in the reference column who know you well & who is true in nature. The persons who can't criticise you in any cirumstances can be given in reference.

If you have faith on your particular teacher, you can give the name of that particular teacher. You can also give the names of others who know you well.

Generally, two names are to be given in the references. The first one is also a guarantor. So you should prefer to give the name in the first place of guarantor accordingly.

    Thanks & good luck.

    Hello,

My first suggestion to you will be,donot use anybody's reference, try to avoid them as much as possible. If you get a job with somebody's reference and ultimately some of your colleague comes to know about it,then it wont be something good for you.Try to achieve everything using your own knowledge, and ability. This will give you internal strength.Coming to your query regarding mentioning of any sort of reference, avoid mentioning them. You can talk about it verbally but my suggestion will be dont mention them in your resume,as it might not be appreciated.
