What if candidate has experience but with termination letter?

I am asking about one of my co employee who recently got terminated from our company due to some reasons. She got a good year of experience but every where she got terminated and changed the job. Will it be normal to recruit such an employee having good experiences but with terminated profile?

Termination from a job is only done if any employee has commited some serious mistakes like cheating, stealing or incurring heavy losses to the company or not meeting the performance targets etc.
Now in this case your co employee has been terminated by your present company, she was terminated from other place also earlier.
You need to understand the reasons as to why anyone is being terminated from job always.
She would not be a right candidate to recruit as even though she may have good experience but she is being terminated earlier.

Sir the quality of the employee shows by behavior/attitude of that person means if that person is really simple, candid, modest and disciplined about the work and has good experience then you must hire that candidate but if you find anything wrong in the behavior during interview process then you should not hire her because companies takes interviews to check the status, personality and body language of the candidate and that is why so many of candidates who scores more than 70% marks in Academics got failed in interview and so many of them who scores not more than 60% marks and got selected for the job that is why interviewer also should be careful during to hire any new employee for the company because one fish spoils the entire lake that is why you have to be careful about her and if someone's gonna hire her then take the interview before that then appoint

    All the best

    Hello Aspirant,

The question is somewhat peaucellier.Termination is the term which goes to the negative parts of the employee. You should see the causes of the termination. If an employee leaves the job,It is resignation which is not as negative as termination.

One employee can submit resignation due to want of higher package of salary,or if an opportunity to get better job or due to some personal grievances where as termination is on the basis of being not capability, not adjustable, charges of corruption etc.

So the precaution is needed to give appointment to such candidate,Because giving employment to any body means you have to entrust for well being in the company/office.Such candidate may harm to any extent of the company/office etc.

    Thanks & good luck.

    Hi friend

Termination certainly has a negative impact on a person's resume and thus not many companies think of giving him a job as he may behave in the same manner with them. but ofcourse every person deserves a second chance and if you think that person has good experience and is compepetent enough to be given the job, barring the terminations, then you should give that person a chance. Mayne the chance you give him changes his life and that he learns how to behave properly in a company.

Termination is not the end of everything and so it does not necessary means that an employee who has been terminated from a previous company has a bad character or will be bad for the reputation of your company. Such employees should definitely be given another chance as who knows that their termination was not their fault at all and happened due to some unusual circumstances, which can happen with anyone.

So you should first ask such employees the reason for their termination in the previous companies. They may not tell you the truth but you should definitely give them a second chance. If they have committed some major blunder like a theft or breaking some major rule of the company or misbehaving with their boss, then maybe you can think of not recryiting such a person but if he has been the victim of circumstances then they should definitely be given another chance.

So friend i hope that you have realised my point. I am very happy that you are so concerned about your co-employee as most people today are only interested in themselves. Tell your co-employee that nothing is over and with her hard work and effort she can definitely have a successful future ahead. there are many compnies out there which will give a chance to such employees and so should you. I hope you get my point.

    Good luck and Thanks

    Hello,

It is essential to find for what reasons she has been terminated from the last companies that she has worked for.It is very essential to enquire about this particular issue.Secondly,no company will be interested in terminating his employee specially if she is experienced. All companies encourage experienced employees. So I think there must have been some serious reason for which she has been terminated inspite of the fact that she is experienced one ! Its better to avoid this type of candidate. In a big country like India, there is no scarcity of experienced hard working people, search and appoint someone else!
