    What is the final procedure involved after an employee’s giving resignation to a company?

    I have joined Sanford Software Company after completing my MBA. It’s a small software company and works of wholesale dealer’s software. One of the employees has left the organization. We have to final procedure of giving him experience letter calculated his salary for the days he worked here and also PF calculations. Can anybody help me in doing this procedure?

    Following are the procedure involved after an employees gives his resignation letter


    1.Check whether the resignation letter is properly drafted.

    2.Ascertain whether any liability is fixed against the said employees.

    3. Calculate the salary due to him excluding if any liability is fixed against him and give to him.

    4.Prepare the experience letter and give to him.

    5. Settle all the PF claims.

    6. Settle the gratuity amount if he has worked in the company for more than 5 years.

    Dear..

    Following is the list of procedure that must be followed :-

    1. Salary should be calculated for the days worked and all the leave balance should be converted in money and given to the employee.

    2. Settle all the deduction made by the company like ESI and PF or transfer it to another company.

    3. In case of gratuity amount the company should also calculate and give it to the respective person.

    4. Check whether any dues are their or not and if yes then collect it or impose fine for it.

    5. Prepare experience letter for the employee.

    6. Call the candidate for EXIT interview and take valuable output and reason for leaving the job.
