What are the eligibility criteria for a loco pilot?

I have a qualification of 10+2 from Vyasanagar College. I have secured 53% in the finals. Am I eligible for the loco pilot post in Indian Railways?

Hi, The minimum educational qualification to apply for becoming a loco pilot is matriculation or its equivalent under 10+2 system, and course completed in Apprentice or I.T.I. in any of the specific trades recognised by SCVT/ NCVT. You have the right educational qualification, but you should have completed your ITI in any trade from a recognized university or you should have a diploma degree in mechanical/automobile/electrical or electronics. Moreover, your age should be between 18-30 years (with some relaxation for SC/ST and OBC category). Selection procedure includes written exam and personal interview. Thanks.
