What does this mean if the client is ready to take our service but not ready to sign any agreement? Is it safe to have business with such type of people?

I work as an HR in small software company called Logistic limited. Recently one of the clients has approached us saying that they want to use of service. But they are not ready to sign any agreement. Is it good sign of doing business with such type of clients? How can we know the stability and position of this client in the market?

According to me it is better you executive an agreement with your client for starting the work. But if they are not ready to

executive an agreement you can start the work by getting some advance ie at least 50% of the quotation. Only after getting the

balance money you need to give the software or what ever it is.

Now a day even for a small service all of then are executing an agreement.

So you have to be careful before starting a business relationship with such people.

    Dear Friend!

This is very complicated question to take decision for YES or NO from your side and as well as from my end. If we take decision for YES , neither you will be Benefit in business nor in loss. If we take for NO, nevertheless will be same conditions but it will be great decision taken by us, according to me. Because if you start any business in written all its more helpful and beneficial for us. So you have to be careful before start a business relationship with such kind of clients.

Agreement between the service provider and the client is very necessary, considering the fact that it makes an service provider tension free about the money and for client it makes the tension free about the quality of service. It's always a riskier step to go for a business without any agreement. It's not a feasible step to go for it. You must check whether that party is a defaulter or not, reputation in the market. If they are not ready to sign an agreement it's better if you demand them to pay a full or certain percentage of total money of the service to pay in advance so that the loss can be minimized if any default happens. Kindly refer this matter to higher authorities and as per the decision of them, accordingly take the action.
