    Dear Aspirant,

Trade union is a union of staffs & workers of a particular organisation/trade.For example BSNL trade union. They form union in order to get the genuine demand for improving their living standard. The union has to be registered in labour office after 28 days of its formation.

Where as the labour union is a union of wage earners for improving their working lives. Here the wages earners of more than one organisation may join together ,becaude labour earns equal wages per day in almost all the organisations. Here officers cadre or supervisor cadres don't join with the labour union. It also has to be registered lie trade union.

    Thanks.

    Ashok
