    What to do if employee is unable to finish off his task on time?

    I am a manager of a small private company. I have an excellent working crew. But recently one of the best employees failed to finish off the work assigned to him within the stipulated time. What should I do in this circumstances and how should I deal this matter?

    Sir, If you are saying that one of your best employee was unable ti finish his assigned work in time, and more over you have a excellent working crew then there must be some problem. Try to understand one thing that you are having the best working crew and one of the best employee then it is for sure that he done all his work in time , and for this time there must be some problem with him. so don't be angry with him and try to find his problem because relation matters a lot in doing any kind of work and if it for first time you should for a solution for him and as friend , try to find that and I'm sure that you and your employees will be best for ever.

    By your words it looks that you are satisfied with your employees performances.

    Sometime it happens that even best are not able to deliver, Such things happens to everyone.

    This can be due to there personal issues or due to lack of motivation, that is why there is always a need for a timely motivation process of employees so that

    there enthusiasm and interest in the work remains consistent.

    Instead of blaming or doing something like that which will cause much negative effect, it is better that you call him and ask him if he do have some problem.

    If he doesn't have that it is best that you motivate him and tell him that he is one of the best employee and you believe him that he can perform much better

    from this.

    If possible you can introduce some reward systems for motivating your employees.

    Dear Aspirant,

    As the condition & situation with an individual changes with time.Since the employee has good impression previously,there may be some reason for down falling his performance.In this case it is required to deal him politely.Call the employee & enquire of the reason for not working well presently.See the reason & try to console him as a guardian.Need not be reprimanded.Since he was a sincere employee,he may be back in good impression with your love & affection.If he is required to have some rest & energy or medical check up,he must get it.He may also have some family problem or he may have been habituated to bad things.Try to convince with love & affection.If he does not listen,he may be called for an explanation.
