What to do if employee is absent without notice for 7 days?

I am the boss of a branch of private company. Recently,an employee is absent without notice for 7 days and till now he has not come. What steps should I take against him keeping in mind that he is an efficient worker? Is it better to take part time employee in his position?

    Hi,

I think you should first of all warn him of not repeating such a thing in the future.
Tell him that he's setting a bad example in front of others.
Today he has done this, tomorrow any other employee might repeat the same thing.
If he listens to you and does not repeat the same incident in the future, then it is well and good.
But if he does this again, then you should fire him from the job.
Instead look for a person who is dedicated and faithful to the company!

    Bye!

    Hi buddy

Firstly you should try to contact that employee who has been on leave for 7 days without any prior information, by any means possible. If you can contact him then its very good and you can ask himthe reason for such a long leave and that also without any notice and also when will he be coming back to work. If he gives you a satisfactory reply then its ok otherwise you can take necessary action against him.

But in case you cant contact him then you should definitely either remove him temporarily from his services and employ some part time employees in his place or terminate him permanently and give his position to someone else. But if you think that he is really a very valuable asset to the company then you can take the former action and only vacate his position temporarily unless he comes back to work.

Take the right decision. According to me it should be the responsibility of your employee to inform you about his leave and not you to contact him and find out the same. Good luck bud

This is a concerning problem as it depicts various negative aspects of the employee. It depicts his carelessness,it also raises questions about his sense of responsibility and also his professionalism. So,you should take some action against the employee. However, keeping in mind that he is efficient and there can be some unforeseen reason which might compel him to be unable to communicate, you should be little lenient while taking some action.

-First of all, send a letter to his address enquiring about him.
-Also mention that he is asked to come soon or communicate soon.
-In case he does not within a stipulated time, the company will employ some other candidates in his position.
-Till then you keep a part time employee.
-You might also ask any of your employee to just handle the absent employee's position till new recruitment is done.
-If there is no response within the stipulated time you can recruit new employee and also send a notice concerning this to the absent employee's address.

    Hi.............,

    What can you do----->
    * If employee is not important then simply you can reject him from the post.
    * If employee is a good person in company then you can post him a letter.
    * Company can either give warning to a employee or can remove him from company.
    * If employee is bound from any bond then take steps as per bond rules.

    Thanks

    I would suggest that :
    >> Try to call on his contact number or mobile number
    >> If not responding to phone calls than send the office peon or any staff to the address he has provided to you while joining and check why is he not coming to office
    >> If he is not available at his home, than you just need to send an official letter asking him to report to office within 7 days.
    >> If he still does not respond and come back, you just need to sack him.
    >> But all paper work and procedures should be done
    >> After sacking him, hire a new employee in his place

    Hi friend

Such employees should not be entertained , irrespective of the fact whether they are efficient workers or not as they set a bad example for others also. So its better if you terminate his services permanently and teach him such a lesson that he will never forget. Then maybe he will not repeat such a thing in future and thus will certainly set a great example for others too. But of course first youshould try to find out the reason for his absence without notification because he may be in some sort of trouble and thus you should try to find it out.

If he is in some kind of trouble then surely you must sympathesize with him and help him to get out of it. Also you can for the time being employ someone in his place temporarily and then when he comes back , can give him his position. But if he has deliberately not informed you and you come to know about that, then you call him to your office and tell him that he is fired or ask him the reason for the same and then give him a severe punishment like demoting him.

So do something which will benefit that employee in th efuture and thus make his career bright. Good luck friend

I think you must initial of all warn him of not repetition such a issue within the future.
Tell him that he is setting a nasty example before of others.
these days he has done this, tomorrow the other worker may repeat an equivalent issue.
If he listens to you and doesn't repeat an equivalent incident within the future, then it's well and sensible.
however if he will this once more, then you must fireplace him from the task.
Instead seek for someone UN agency is devoted and trustworthy to the company!
Firstly you must try and contact that worker UN agency has been inactive for seven days with none previous info, by any suggests that doable. If you'll be able to contact him then its excellent and you'll be able to raise him the rationale for such a protracted leave which additionally with none notice and additionally once can he be coming to figure. If he offers you a satisfactory reply then its ok otherwise you'll be able to take necessary action against him.

However just in case you cant contact him then you must undoubtedly either take away him briefly from his services and use some half time staff in his place or terminate him for good and provides his position to somebody else. however if you're thinking that that he's extremely a really valuable quality to the corporate then you'll be able to take the previous action and solely vacate his position briefly unless he comes back to figure.

Take the proper call. per Pine Tree State it ought to be the responsibility of your worker to tell you concerning his leave and not you to contact him and verify an equivalent.

This is a regarding drawback because it depicts numerous negative aspects of the worker. It depicts his carelessness,it additionally raises questions on his sense of responsibility and additionally his expertise. So,you should take some action against the worker. However, keeping in mind that he's economical and there will be some unforeseen reason which could compel him to be unable to speak, you should be very little lenient whereas taking some action.

First of all, send a letter to his address en quiring concerning him.
Also mention that he's asked to come back shortly or communicate shortly.
In case he doesn't among a stipulated time, the company can use another candidates in his position.
Till then you retain a district time worker.
You might additionally raise any of your worker to merely handle the absent employee's position until new enlisting is completed.
If there's no response among the stipulated time you'll be able to recruit new worker and additionally send a notice regarding this to the absent employee's address.
Such staff mustn't be pleased , no matter the very fact whether or not they ar economical staff or not as they set a nasty example for others additionally.

Therefore its higher if you terminate his services for good and teach him such a lesson that he can always remember.

Then perhaps he won't repeat such a issue in future and so will definitely set a good example for others too. however in fact initial youshould try and verify the rationale for his absence while not notification as a result of he is also in some variety of hassle and so you must try and realize it out.

If he's in some reasonably hassle then certainly you want to sympathize with him and facilitate him to induce out of it. additionally you'll be able to for the present use somebody in his place briefly and so once he comes back , will provide him his position.

However if he has deliberately not informed you and you return to understand that, then you decision him to your workplace and tell him that he's pink-slipped or raise him the rationale for an equivalent and so provide him a severe penalization like demoting him.
