Re: What are the Disadvantages of getting a transfer?

Dear as for as my views are concerned that there is no disadvantages of getting transfer in the job because this is the compulsory activity in the job and if you will not get transfered then you will not get the experience of your life and your job and you would be unable to get the promotion and hikes in the salary of the job so that you must not think about the disadvantages of the transfer from your current job and you should fee lucky that you are getting transfer because you will get a fresh and new working environment with new and amazing experience and this is the time in which you may prove yourself to your company that you are eligible and completely made to work and perform good in any type of environment and you must try to do best so that your company could appoint you soon for another senior post in the office

But we may not accept that there are 0% disadvantages of your transfer, we would say that there are some but each disadvantage depends on the situation means if you are getting transfer from any rural area from your urban area and you have no experience that how to deal with rural peoples then it may create some problems for you and if your transfer is being done so far from your hometown or residence then also it would be a problem for you and the office employees and boss where you are going to get transfered may be something strict with the working so that you would be unable to adjust soon in the new office premises but there is no other disadvantages in getting transfered during the job

    All the best

    Dear Aspirant,

You must know that you can not expect to work whole time right from the joining to retirement at the same place in service both in govt. & private sectors.Generally tranfer is done every three years both in pvt. & govt. sectors. However an employee can be transfered any time on the administrative ground.

The demerits of the transfer are that if the employees work at a place whether at home place or in any new place, they feel better because of settlement with the persons, environment, climate. If it is home place, then nothing to say.The employees get many benifits working at home place, but it is seldom possible to get job at native place.

On transfer the employees may face some problems related to environment, climate etc.But it is very common & everything is managed.

So don't hesitate to join the job.

    Thanks & good luck.

    Hello,

If you have a problem transfering then you can think about it again.

But if you are flexible and willing to travel and adjust then you should accept the job.

If the company is good and you have a good offer then try not to let it go.

    Disadvantage of getting Transfer :

--->> Difficulty in travelling and shifting .

--->> Difficulty in settling and establishing .

--->> Problem in finding house .

    --->> Change in environment.

    --->> Adaptation to new environment.

--->> Difficulty in adapting with the food and climate.

    Thank you

Re: What are the Disadvantages of getting a transfer?

    Dear Friend,

There are very few organizations where you will not get transfers. Whether it is a private job or a Government job, transfer has become the routine in our professional life.

So, there are disadvantages of getting job transfer but you have to think whether you can afford it. I mean if you go to another job, how sure you are that you will not get transfers.

Here, are the disadvantages of job transfers:

    1. Unsettled life
    2. Again a new start i.e. your colleagues, neighbors, place, everything will be new and you have to adapt
    3. relocation expenses
    4. Kids studies will get affected, they will also loose their old friends which sometimes become very difficult to cope up with
    5. It is very disturbing emotionally to leave out all your old things
    6. Settling in life is not easy and you have to repeat all those things over and over again

So, there are so many disadvantages of job transfers but on the other hand there are few advantages also.

You have to take your decision based on all available options and your priorities.

    All the best.
    Thank you.

    Hi,

There are both advantages and disadvantages of transfer.
Here are few disadvantages of transfer-
    The work environment changes
    New colleagues
    New boss
build up your place again in that new office
build up the confidence and trust of collegues and boss.

Like wise every thing will change and you will have adjust yourself to new surroundings.

If the leading company is offering more advantages than the present company.
Then you must join it and make your job stable again.

    Good luck
