In what circumstances can an employee leave the company on immediate effect?

What are the circumstances in which an employee leaves the current company or his current job with the immediate effect? As it has been the case that sometimes candidates gets new opportunity and he wants to quit immediately but he have to serve 3 months of notice period.

    Hi,

As per good practice, employee should not leave any organisation with immediate effect....this practice is not good for the company who is hiring these type of employees...what ever may be the urgency...

This type of employees can leave that companies with same situation....

Hence try not to leave with immediate effect unless there are other reason for leaving...
Have a discussion with the future company and explain that you have to handover your job and that requires some time...they will understand the practical situation...

It is correct that notice period can be buy by your future employer and you will not be in loss but it will not be correct from your side also...

Now it is upto you....to decide the best...

    Hello Aspirant,

Now every one wants to earn more & more money. Also every one is interested to have job security. The employees join one job & try for still better opportunity. It is quite obvious that the concerned one will be very eager to join the new & better opportunity.Seeing the difficulties in such case, the employers have made provision of notice period. It varies from one to three months. Its purpose is to settle the financial accounts of the concerned employee.

If any out going employee is not in a position to serve the notice period, the concerned employee will have to deposit the amount of salary in lieu of the notice period.Suppose the notice period to be served is three months & in case the employee is unable to do so,he will have to deposit the amount of 3 months salary & then he can leave the company with proper experience certificate & relieving letter from the employer.

But the alternate option also will require few days to complete.

    Good luck.
