    What action should be taken against an employee who is never coming to the office on time and not being sorry for that?

    I am the manager an automobile company.It has come to my notice that one of the employees in our company is never coming to the office on time and hasnít even apologized for it once. This has been going on the for the past few weeks. What action should be taken against such an employee?

    Hello Friend,

    Well, every company be it big or small has certain rules and regulations and all employees should follow that rules carefully. It is rather strange that the person has no respect for professional manners of workplace. You should talk to him and and seek a clarification of his late arrival at work place. If you are not satisfied with his explanation then you should give him one final warnning and request him to follow office working schedule closely. But if the person continues to follow his own set of rules then you should take disciplinary action aganist him. For such indivisual carrot and sticj policy is the best policy.

    since you are the manager of the company so you should first try to convince him to come to work on time. tell him 2 times,3 times but if he does not listen to you then you should scold him for such a behaviour.
    if he again not listens to you then you should give warnings to fire him. this will solve his problem. you should also report this matter to the head of the department as it is a serious issue and it can lead to the downfall of the company and company employee behaviour. i would suggest to be strict to these kind of peoples.

    If one of your employee is being too late in coming to office everyday and not being apologized for that so you should take action against him because this behavior will effect all other employees who are working in that company and mainly over those who are at good post because they will also claim that when another employee is coming too late to office and management is not interested in taking any action then we also want extra time and this situation will destroy the management in your office that is why be careful about the current situation and handle according to your efficiency

    First of all you should call that employee in your cabin because may be that there is any personal problem he has that he comes late everyday so get details and reason behind this and be strict while asking him for that so he will give you the cause even after you should not allow him to come late and instruct to come on time otherwise others will learn that habit and if there is no reason behind this activity then you should scold him and seriously instruct that if he comes late to the office again then he will loose a big amount from his salary because the HR department is calculating the salary of each minute and we would note this down that when you comes to office premises and start working and then if you see that he is late again then you should deduct salary of that day and give him less in next month then he will realize and understand the value of time and will never do the same
