Want to work in my hometown and live with my family

I have recently joined a government job away from my hometown. But I have always wanted to work in my hometown so that I can live with my family thus maintaining good relations with them. But sadly I couldn’t get a job there. Now what should I do to get a job there? Please guide me properly.

    Hello friend,

It is a matter of luck sometime , that we think for sometime and we get that also. But if you want to do job in your hometown , then I will not say that its a impossible task, you can follow these points:-

    1. As you are saying that , you are in government job then if it is possible try to find their branch and try to have a transfer to your hometown.
    2. If you are not having a transfer to your hometown by some problems, then with this job try to find another job in your hometown.
    3. If you are so much eager to work in your hometown, then you can also try for a private job.

Friend beside thing one thing I want to suggest you that if you are not having a transfer now as you said that you have joined recently , then it may be a difficult task to get a transfer so soon , then carry on with your current job because having a good job is the thing your parents always wanted for you, and they will be sad if you have any kind of problem regarding job so it depends on you , if you get a new and good job in your hometown then go for it otherwise pursue this job as your parents always wanted this from you.

    Thanks.

this is not necessary that what you want you get always, if you get a job away from from your hometown then you should do that job ,you should also maintain a good relation with your family by visiting to your home time to time and once you settled their then you shift your family at your work place town . In this way you will do your job easily and also maintain a good relation with your family

Re: Want to work in my hometown and live with my family

First of all don't be sad, there are times we have to leave our family for work as it is equally important to work as is our family and your family will never like that

you live with them at sake of your career.

There are many ways you can fulfill your wish:

Like you can try for another government openings that is suitable to you, and try to get high scores as you know that jobs are based on the merit list so higher

you are in the list more easy is for you to opt for the job at the place you wish. As now a days there are so many openings seen in the government

organisations. It can take some time but by this you can keep your career smooth without difficulties. Also as you have already prepared for this exam you don't

need to prepare for others as most of these exams have a general pattern.

Don't try to find some private job and leave a government job to get close to your family.

If your job is well paying enough and have a place where your family can be kept than you can call them to visit your place periodically similarly you can go there

as there are enough holidays that you can use for such purpose by this you will remain in touch with your family.

Now a days there are so many technologies by which you can contact your family whenever you need like mobile phones, internet(skype) etc.

    Hello Aspirant,

Heartily congratulations for getting govt.job.A man has always some sorts of problems. When an educated people don't have job & trying for it,he desires to have any job & anywhere. When one gets more than one opportunities,he/she gets confused what to select for better future.Like wise it is a continuous process in whole life.

When you have been posted away fron your local/home town, you can shift your family to your posted place. If at all it is not possible to do so,wait for one to two years, then get a medical certificate related to your parents or any family members, write a application to your appointing authority along with that medical certificate & meet him personally to convince.

If you are class 3 job,you may be considered positively to be transferred to your home town otherwise you will have to find any other option to have close relationship with your family members.

    Good luck.

respected sir, its very difiicult to secure a job that is near your hometown as there should be opening for job you do.. yes its very important that you maintain good relations with your family but it does not mean you compromise your job, because money is important for life, when you have got government job its very good that you have secure job profile and job security is best unlike private job.. the best way to be with family is you shift your family near your office as you would also get family quarters all the best
