Unforeseen circumstances forcing me to quit my present job, which I am afraid, will be very bad for my future

I am working in a MNC. Due to some unforeseen circumstances related to my wife’s health, I would have to shift from this place and thus am forced to quit my present job. But I think that this will be a blow to my career as thus was a very good job. What can be done in such a situation to safeguard my future?

    Dear Friend,

I am sorry about your wife's poor health condition. These are the difficult decisions to make in our career.

You should first work out is there any way by which you can take care of your wife without quitting your job. You may explore things like,

    taking help from family members,
    taking help from close friends,
    hiring maid for household works.

If anything works, it will be a great help for your family as well as your professional career.

But, if there is no other option clicking then you need to take your decision based on your priorities and i feel the priorities should be like this,

your health >> your family >> your friends >> your career

You may also think about taking long leave from the organization.

But, in case of no other options, quit your job and take care of your wife in the best manner possible. Don't worry if you were good at your work, you will get your job back anytime you need.

    All the best.
    Thank you.

    hello.......
make your wife bold from inside.
compare with your children who is more bold mainly with boy.
give example like see how i am bold.

    also

Identify the cause of the fear, and avoid doing it.
Think up images of your favourite dessert, your most recent birthday, or some to surround yourself with large pillows and blankets, hug one and pull the rest around you to feel safe
    .
Use the time when you're lying in bed to exercise your creative muscle
    .

    thanku........

If your MNC has branches in other areas, then you may ask them for a transfer.
Give them complete detail about why you need a transfer.
Also ask your boss if he has some contacts in the place where you are shifting.

I can understand that losing a job at this point of time may put you in huge trouble. But your wife's health is equally important. Health is on the top of the priority list . So you have no other option other than shifting to some other place. You can take a transfer if your company have any office nearby your new residence. Or else you would have no option other than leaving this job. But don't worry much.Your job experience in this company will definitely fetch you another good job.

If there is a huge problem with your wife then you can go to the higher authorities and explain the matter, and also say that its serious condition so he needs leave for a month if they agree to give yo a leave then it will be fine for you to stay away from work for 1 month and till the time you can also stay with your wife, may be she will recover within one month and it will be a good news for you. If you not show your situation in front of your boss then they will never know the level of complexity in that so you must do this before you gor any of the decision. Every human has some soft points if your situation is now like this may be they also have seen the situation like this in their life so they will definitely understand that. Show them the proof of that and they will help you.

    Dear friend,

Thats very unfortunate to listen so . But you can try the following -

    1. Try to take transfer to the place where things can be managed.
    2. Try to ask for the work from home from the company till the things get settled.
    3. If you dont want to leave the job, give valid reeasons and you can go for long leave for a consedirable amount of months so as not to affect your job as well as your personal needs.
    4. If possible ask some family member to support you and stay with you till the things get settle down.

leaving job is never the only solution. Companies have policies which support the eployee in their critical time. Try to meet you HR persina and explore some better possiblities.

    Thanks

Re: Unforeseen circumstances forcing me to quit my present job, which I am afraid, will be very bad for my future

Do not worry about it dear because if you are facing the problem related to the health of your wife then there is not problem because company is made up of employees and each employee has family so you should go to your manager or boss and mention about your entire situation because there is no chance to save your job except requesting from your manager, just go but do not go alone, you should bring medical reports of the health of your wife and show to the manager and request them that sir I am sorry to say that I can not be continue in this job because of the seriousness of the health of my wife and she has to go under operation that is not possible in this city so I would have to be with her for sometime and that is why I want to leave this company for sometime and I would be unable to work for a long time so I expect you that you will not terminate my services from this company and try to understand my current problem

I am sure that if you are the good employee in the company and will mention this situation then your boss will allow you to go for leave till unexpected time but you should also be serious and mention the time of your return in the company because if you will not tell them the exact time that when will you return then you may face problem in this case so tell them frankly that you are going for more than two months and will not come back until your wife gets health again and you must leave the job but join again

If your boss say that you should take permission from other higher authorities because you are going for a long time then you should go to higher authorities and request them for the same so you will get approval on this situation because your problem is serious and everyone will help you out in this matter.

One more request you may do from your boss that is for transfer from the current city means if there is any office or branch of your company in that city where you are going to live next then you should request to your manager to give you transfer in that city so you could keep your job continue and take care for your wife

    All the best

    hi
well if that is the situation, you should have a word with your present boss or any other senior official employee who has good terms with you.
You can tell him the problem of yours and ask them out that whether that have a solution to this or not.
And if they don’t have any, then you shouldn’t be bothering much about it and quit the job for the present and try making your career by joining some other company.
There is always a better scope when you work well heartedly and honestly.
    Gud luck

You have to support your wife till she becomes alright don't worry you will find some other job which is more better than the present always whatever happens in life is for our best just believe in positivity of life and move on try to be better husband first i mean if you respect women in your life who ever it is sister mother and wife.. Wife plays a very critical role in your life, your wife needs you in hour of crisis so you should serve in hour of distress.. Your wife will definitely be alright and she will indirectly guide you to a good job .. Human bonding is more powerful than anything nothing replaces it when you care about your wife she is the real force in form of god(lakshmi) of house you earn money for her sake and family when the family lead role played by your wife is not well then its of no use when your not beside her so don't worry about the job you may reconnect with the company as you have valid reason after your wife is well then you can explore for job based upon your experience.. All the best

    Sorry Friend,
To know about your wife's bad health.

Family is our top priority and since your wife needs your cooperation according to me you should go for it.

If you have already got a confirmation letter then you may dare to quit your job.

I can understand what is going on in you . You are worried about your future which is quite obious.

But before you quit you take help from your family, friends.

They might come to your place and look after your wife.

You may also ask your company for a transfer to somewhere suitable for you to look after your wife and not quit your job.

If necessary you can take a leave of some days.
