Under indirect pressure to quit the job

I know my manager wants one of his favorite person to be on the job in my place but it is the practices that she is using to get me to quit the job. She cannot directly fire me therefore she is using subtle tactics like tell me I could do better at other post etc. What can i do to stop her. there is no way I am quitting my job.

    Hi friend,
Hope you are in good health and good state of mind!
It's always a treat and fun to answer your queries.
I also appreciate the confidence that you have shown in us!

Manager holds a very important position in the organization, hence it is very important to have a skilled manager on the organization.
Manager is a person who carries out he functions of Planning,Organizing,Staffing,Directing and Controlling.
Hence the success of the organization depend largely on him.
A manager has to take decisions at almost every instant of life and those decisions should be such that they prove beneficial for the organization.
Hence it is very important that you have a well qualified and highly skilled manager who has the ability to think, broad vision, clear expression, emotional stability and should be a dynamic personality.

In your case,it is completely wrong if she is trying to force you to resign and instead making castles in the air that you'll be given a better position.
She is trying to do so because she wants that you yourself get out of her way and then she would keep someone else, whom she prefers, in your place.

See you should tell this to the Top level management.
Tell them that you are getting disturbed by such acts.
I am sure they will surely take some actions against the manager!

I hope I have answered all your doubts.
It was a pleasure answering your queries.
Hope that you'll come up with some more challenging queries!
    Till then,take care.
    Bye!

Re: Under indirect pressure to quit the job

    Hi friend

You should certainly not quit your job even though you are being pressured to do the same by your manager. You should not let such injustice happen to you and see to it that you retain your position no matter what happens. Firstly you should not pay any heed to what your manager is telling you regarding leaving your position. You maintain your stance and dont budge from your position. Secondly you should not give any reason to your manager to remove you from your position. Work sincerely and give your best to the company so that your manager has no genuine reason to remove you from your position.

Such type of favouritism and prejudice should not be practiced by any manager. But as your manager is practicing such discrimination, she really ought to be taught a lesson. And also when the next time she uses some subtle tactics and tell you to quit from your position indirectly, you tell her to her face that you are comfortable in this particular position and thus dont want to change it. I am sure if you tell her firmly she will definitely notice your resolve and maybe give up on persuading you to quit. If she continues pressurizing you, you can even complain to the higher authorities.

Good luck friend. Dont give up what is rightfully yours and fight bravely
