Unable to comprehend the meaning of my bossís words

I am working in a government organisation. Actually our boss speaks very fast and we canít comprehend his words. As I am new , I find it very difficult to understand the meaning of his words. So I am not able to carry out his orders and many times get scolded. How to deal with such a situation?

    Hello Aspirant,

It some times happens. Many persons speaks very fastly, but such persons are not much serious. They speak fastly. So they bow too easily. They are easy in life.

But an officer should rather speak slowly & clearly, because he has to make others understand his speech.Being an employee, you should not afraid of your boss for each & every thing.Your boss is not all in all for you.He is just a reporting boss.I think he is not an appointing authority to you.Whatever the case may be.You should not afraid of asking him to repeat his order till you understand his order. You should clearly say that "you are not understanding his speech because of speaking so fastly. So speak slowly."He will do that, because he has to get the work done with you.

Being an employee, you should not afraid for right issue.Be punctual, obedient & efficient in your work.No one will harm you.

    Good luck.

    Hi,

The speaking depends on erson to person...and this is common everywhere..don't worry about the issue...
You need to speak with your boss and explain him the matter...don't be fear with your boss... after all they are also human being...
And if you can explain the issue with proper manner, he will certainly change his behaviour...I think you are not the only one facing this issue...many of you are unable to speak and results are with you...

Hope you can understand my point...hence don't afraid and speak and present your issue....

Good luck...you will get the result..

If you are not able to understand what your boss says it is better that you ask him again rather than be shy and get such scoldings.

Because your boss doesn't know that due to his fast speaking you are not able to understand.

Ask him politely any thing you don't understand and make it clear, as without understanding the instructions completely you will never be able to

    perform the task correctly.

You can also take advice from your colleagues that how do they deal with this, possibly they might give you much better idea as they would also have

faced the same problem when they where new.

Even if then you are not able to get things right than you should talk to your boss and tell him politely about the problem you are facing, as like this

you won't be able to work properly.
