    Two employees do not want to go for office tour together

    I am the owner of a software company. Recently it is required that two of our employees have to go for a tour and complete a project with an important client. So I had chosen the best two employees. But they are not telling that they cannot go together for the office tour. What should I do in this prime time?

    Hi,
    This is the company's important project you are not inviting them to some party organisation.They don't have the right to say no at this peak time .They are not going for enjoyment they are going for some working purpose this is the matter of work.In working environment employees should work with good coordination even though they are having some problems with each other .If any clashes between them is there then they have keep those things outside the office.Try to solve this problem by talking with them and give some suggestions or conduct Hr counselling for them.they are still saying no give the chance to another person working in the same project.

    Respected sir this is really a critical problem for you because you have selected the two best employees of your company for a tour of a deal and both of them are not ready to go for tour with each other so that in this situation you have two ways and one way is - You order them strictly for the tour and complete the project and warn them that if you will not complete this project together then you may get loss in your salary and the second way is that - You should find out the best one of them and find another one best from your office employees and send any one of them with any other person for the project and i am sure that if you will choose any one of them and a person from your office premises then you will not face any problem and get the result good for your project

    But this situation is not for present, it would be continue in future too because both of those employees has problems with each other so that you are a owner of the company so this is your responsibility to know what is going on in the office and what about the working environment of the company because it shows the failure of the manager of the company that he/she could not create a good working environment and a friendly atmosphere between employees so that you should take a right decision about both of them that they could work together in the office or for any other project and if they will have problems with each others then it may affect the growth and image of your company so that you should try to solve this situation as soon as possible

    The two employees have put you in a dwindling position.You should look at the interest of the employees as well as the interest of the company.Any wrong step at this time can bring losses to your organization.Hence you should be calm and think deeply before taking a decision.

    -First call both the employees for a meeting.
    -Explain the need of the hour.
    -Explain what the company expects from them.
    -Explain how important this tour is for the company.
    -Tell how this tour can benefit them as well.
    -Listen to their talks and do not pressurize them much.
    -If they still do not want to go together,you have to choose other persons.
    -Choose the second best employees for the tour.
    -Explain them what is the requirement of the tour and what they should do.
    -Boost them with confidence for the tour.

    Dear Aspirant,

    It may be due to not having good understanding between the two concerned employees.You may do one thing.Call both of them in your office,try to know why they are not interested to go on tour together.If you think that these two employees are only competent to do the concerned project work,then instruct them strictly that ''whatever you have personal differences,but both of you are the employees of my company & I have trusted both of you for a single work for which both of you are supposed to go on tour together & complete the marked work successfully & I would not like to hear it incomplete,blaming each other.I don't want to hear any pretend from both of you.If I get the work incomplete,both of you must be ready to face the consequences.''Also you can add that both of you may be given a surprise in case of success.Now say best of luck.

    If you think that there is any alternative to it available,you can do it which may be good for you.

    You are not in deep trouble, as you still have certain options available to solve this problem of yours. It is actually a problem that a company faces when the morale among its employees is low. You have to have a talk or employee welfare set up in your company. Anyways follow these simple steps before its actually late.. Too late...
    1. Of course there must be some personal problem between your emplyees. Just try asking it to them. Solve it if you can as it is the first step to have morale built in your company.
    2. Talk to them that it is not a place and time to bring up personal issues.
    3. Individual talk with each of them may also help. Ask it to them as a favour to you and your company as you need them.
    4. You can even share with them how much important it is for you to do the task completed.
    5. You can also promise them certain pay perks.
    6. Ask your HR manager to organise a talk on morale building.
    7. Tel your employees exactly why you chose them and what you expected of them, and how their actions have upset you.

    These points shall work.

    Hi aspirant

    I don't think your employees should behave in such an immature manner and try to look at this problem from the viewpoint of your company. As your company wants it's 2 best employees for this tour, so they have chosen both of them. They should keep their personal differences aside and should be ready and support their company in this major project. They should be rather be proud of themselves and at the same time thankful to the company for giving them such a big chance than to fight like children.

    I think they need to be taught a lesson so that they never behave again in this manner. You should tell them strictly that either both of them would go together and if they are not ready for it then you would cancel both their names from this project. You will choose two other employees, who may not be as good as them, but atleast they would be sensible enough to accept their responsibilities and not behave in such an immature manner.

    I am sure after this interaction, your employees will be certainly ashamed of themselves and thus will not repeat such a thing again. This will be a good lesson for their future. Good luck

    this is not the responsibility of the employee to decide whether to go for company project or not. ok ??
    it i your primary responsibility to decide whom to choose for the job.
    and if the employee is not agreeing for this than ask him why he i snot willing to do so.
    since he is getting a good opportunity to visit the place., and he is leaving the golden opportunity.

    if you don't seem the valid excuse given by him than ask him to go anyway otherwise there will be
    salary deduction from your current salary.
    since, you are given the salary for your work and if you are not profiting the company than you are not
    eligible to get or paid more.

    hope his will have impact on him.
