Too much work stress on teachers due to introduction of CCE

CBSE board introduced a new system called CCE i.e. Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation, around 3 years ago. This requires the teachers to prepare various assessment tests like Formative and Summative assessments which has led to a lot of extra stress and paperwork on the teachers. Also the salaries of teachers havenít been increased. Now they also require the teachers to be tech-savvy like make various powerpoint presentations which is very difficult for the older teachers. How to deal with such stress and shouldnít our salaries be also increased?

Re: Too much work stress on teachers due to introduction of CCE

Since CBSE board have almost abolished the system of Board Exam in Class10,that is why they have started CCE as a substitute of it.
System of education has changed a lot over the years.I can understand the situation of the elder teachers, but young teachers have to take the responsibility. The age old custom of teaching only from books is not applicable in this present scenario. In order to move forward keeping same pace with global education,Indian teachers have to take such responsibility. If subject teachers form a group and distribute the task amongst themselves, then it wont be big problem.Junior teachers will do the presentation work, while the task of assimilating and composing materials shouldbe done by the senior teachers. In this way,the burden can be shared between the teachers as per their capibility.
