    Tips for effective telephonic interview

I am having a great confusion as to what should be the attitude for a telephonic interview. It will be of great help if anyone can tell what are the things that should be kept in mind during the interview and what all should never be done.

Re: Tips for effective telephonic interview

Nowadays it is a common trend among the companies to conduct telephonic interviews before face to face interview. Some even recruit through telephonic interviews.Hence proper preparation should be done by the candidates to make it a successful one.The basic things that should be kept in mind and implemented during telephonic interview are:-

-Get enough information inorder to decide you want to continue the interview or not.
-Give good amount of response to the words from other side. The replies should be precise.
    -End the telephonic interview effectively.

You should be confident but humble while responding to the call. You should create an impression on the other side of the call that you are interested and enthusiastic about the job.You should make sure that you ask the right questions when you are asked to ask like questions regarding the firm, job position, etc. You should be polite and honesty as these are the qualities which are assessed during the interview and is of prime importance.

In case you are asked to call, call at the right time rather than calling early or calling late.Always keep your CV,notepad and a pen.
You have to end the call concisely and by being humble. This is an important point in the telephonic interviews as it reflects your communication as well as understanding skills.

telephonic interview is truely based on your communiction skills who you respond to their questions and your authority of your voice is under check generally you will be ask some basic questions about the subject and tell me about yourself... your opinion on several topics is known from you.. they only check how well you speak and communicate with them.. its very easy unlike personal interview... be yourself don't try to act smart or replicate too much skills in your language be simple and intelligent that's it friend all the best

For convincing the people on the telephonic interview, all you need is to be vary fluent, very confident and very positive with your voice and the delivery of speech.
the reason being that you have just your words and voice to convince the person sitting on the other side of telephone. And your confidence level is strictly dependant on your voice and the way you speak. Therefore, your complete focus should be on the preparation of your better communication skills
