Re: Is there any retirement age in private sector?

There is no such age for retirement in private sector.
However a company can have such policy of retirement at a particular age.
Normally most companies having such policy fixes this age around 58-60.
You can have a look at companies policy or can talk to your HR about this

Actually in the private sector there is no any rule for the retirement of the service. You can do the work in the private company till you want.

So, don't confuse about this type of the question. In the private sector job there was no age of retirement so you can left the job as per on wish.

Wish you all the best for your future job. Do work good in the office then you will get promotion in the office work. All the best.

Re: Is there any retirement age in private sector?

Retirement age is generally 60 years in private companies. But since private sector deals with performance rather than age, so as long as you deliver and have potential you can join other companies for posts like CEO and can join private institutes as directors. Most companies fix the age at which a person will retire but it usually is not followed cause there are many CEO and GM who continue to work even after 60 years of age

    Dear friend,

Yes, it is truth that there is an age limit of working in any Private or Public sector after that a person has to be retired, either exceptions are everywhere. The last limit of age to work is maximum of 60 to 62 years of your age. I have already said that there are many exceptional issues that if you are on a higher post as like the G.M. (General Manager) of the company and the company is earning too much according to your performance then it could be possible that after retirement they called you back.

    Thanks to be contacted.

    Hello Guest,
Most of the compnaies provide retirement at the age of 58.
Some central government jobs the retirement age is 60.
That is full retirement but if you need voluntary retirement then you need to talk with your company HR or Manager.
Go through the retirement policies of your compnay and talk with your HR about the issue.
If there is valid and stron reason behind your retirement then you will get it.
    All the best.

    hello sir,
The retirement is based on your age. In private sector there is no limit for a retirement but if company policy will not be brake.
If you are working in private sector at the age of 45 then you have more experience about that company and than the company will not give retirement to you if it possible.
were as in government jobs retirement age is 50-60 and this age is also taken by private sector also.

    hello,
    1) In private sector there is no such rules for that but some of the companies specifies the age limit.
    2) They give the age limit around 58-62 years.
    3) If you want to do the job after age limitation discuss with your HR about the permission if you are best in your work you will worry about the retirement.

Re: Is there any retirement age in private sector?

As per my knowledge i dont think that any private sector has retirement policies though many of them companies have their own policies

basically around 60 years of age people are thinking to take rest and wanna leave a peaceful life for further journey

but in private sector the greatest thing is experience if you are an experienced guy in your field of work then after the age of 60 also

you can join new companies and give interviews and earn your future with more enjoyment

private jobs means never give up and if you give up then dont worry there are thousands are companies waiting for you

    All the best

    Hello,

If you are working in a private company then they dont have any age limit for retirement.

In general the retirement age is taken as 58 years on an average.

But there is no specific age limit for the retirement in private sector.

Moreover they do not provide any provision for pension after retirement.

    Thank you

    Hello Friend,
there is no such age limit in private sector as there in government jobs i.e around 62-64 years.because in private sector usually work load is more and so is the stress level so people retire from the private sector job before that age and do something less stressful work.but if you get promoted to HR or companies cultural team any such less stressful work you may work for longer period but it rarely crosses 60.
    Thank You.

Private sector dont have any retirement age limit . All that depends in private sector is your capability to do the job what is expected by the company . As log as you are capable enough and is beneficiary to the company , company pay you for the job . The time you feel to get retirement from the work load or the company decides to terminate you , you retire from company.
Only Govt. sector companies have retirement policy .

In private sector, there is no such specific age for the retirement.

Generally it will be 58-60 years.

If you are such an important resource to you and performing well even at that age also, the company will not allow you to retire.

In addition, the company will provide you more benefits.

If you want to retire early, you can do so.

    It is upto your interest.

There is no specific age retirement in private sector.

As long as you perform well, the private company will not allow you to retire.

But, the average age when most of the employees retire is 58-60 years.

So, it is upto the decision of the employee.

So, I suggest you to retire when ever you are interested.

Even after retiring also,if you want to do job. you can do.

Private sector is the never ending sector.

There is no specific age for the retirement for the people.

At any time, you want to retire, you can retire.

    No one will stop you.

I have seen people working in private companies even after completion of 60 years of age also.

All this is due to their experience.

Companies will never want them to retire.

    hi guest !!!
obviously there is the retirement age in all the sectors and organisation.
but this the limiting age depends upon the constitution as well as policy of the company.
in general, in most of the organisation it is 60-65.
you may get the exact figure by seeing term & condition of your job.
or you may ask to senior authority.
    thank you !!!
