Is there any provision of leaves for marriage and can I take them later if not availed at that time?

I did court marriage and did not take a single leave from office. Now I want to take a break and want to go for a week holidays. Is there any provision of leave for wedding and if it is not availed can I take it later. I work with an Automobile company? I am hesitating to talk to my HR Manager related to this?

    Hi,

Leave policies varies for each organisation

But generally maternity leaves , marriage leaves , immediate death leaves are approved

You can avail leave by talking to your HR .

Show the Invitation card to the HR or Marriage registration copy and avail leave

10 - 15 days of leave can be availed

Leave can be availed only under valid reasons . Unnecessarily leaves will not be approved .

    Thanks @@@

    Hi

for marriage you cant get separate leaves in any company.

if someone get married ina indian tradition so he will get atleast 10-15days leaves.

But that also a paid leaves.

so you do a court marriage and you want one week leaves so you have to take paid

leaves and for that you have to ask your HR.

    hello friend,
First of all Congrats buddy.Yeah you can take leave for marriage as its a biggest occession in any ones life so in these cases generally leave is granted.so talk to your HR about your leave and i am sure he will grant it.and for proof you can show him your wedding card or marriage certificate.you need to take leave and spent some time with your wife ,it will give strength to your relationship and you will get to know each other.and incase leave is not approved then its better to take leave with out pay in this circumstance.
    Thank you.
