Is there any policy of special bonus in a charitable trust?

I am working in a charitable trust since last four years. We get Diwali bonus every year from my organization, but this year besides diwali bonus, trust is giving a special bonus to the employees. But the organization is being partial as the two employees on same position, get different special bonus. Is there any policy or clause about it, as it is not mentioned in appointment letter?

    Dear Aspirant,

As you might be knowing that getting bonus is not a right to the employees.it can not be mentioned in the terms & conditions of the appointment letter.

Bonus is a part of profit earned by the company/organisation/firm.If the working institution runs in profit during the accounting year,It disburses the bonus to its employees.

Your trust is giving a special bonus this year,it means the trust is very good in financial position.

The employees can get maximum 20% of the pay drawn in a accounting year & minimum 8.33% of the same.

So need not worry. The trust is not doing wrong thing & It is not necessary that the trust will continue payins bonus & special bonus every year.

    Thanks.

    Ashok

Dear your trust is a private sector organization and everybody know well about these types of trusts and privates companies that they do only whatever they want and the employees are really not able to ask a single question from the manager of CEO of the company so that they are unable to ask for their authority and this time your trust has planned for special bonus in extra for every employee of the company so that you should accept that happily because if you would ask something in depth about this matter then they may heart you because they are the senior and do not think that your two employees are getting same and more than others, it is because the trust considered them better in performance in the organization that's why they are getting deserving reward and you should never think something wrong about any organization/company/trust which has provided you a good job and enough respect.

    All the best
