Are there any fixed amount granted by company if an employee doesnít claim for any medical expenses?

One of my co-employees in my office hasnít claimed for her medical expenses. Neither the employer nor she ever discuss about anything regarding this. But are there some laws which suggest a fixed percentage of amounts approved directly if no medical claim had been made?

    Dear Aspirant,

It all depends upon the policy of the company either to reimburse the medical expenses or to give a fixed amount for it.But either of one is payable in a single company.Your co-employee has not claimed fro this amount,it means she is either not interested to claim any false bill or she is not aware of the fact.

The purpose of providing this facility is to meet the expenses towards treatment of any members of the family which includes employee & its husband or wife children & father & mother. It is fixed amount paid to the employees of the some state governments.

    Thanks & good luck.

    hii,
yes there are some laws that claims to have some amount of medical. but this depends company to company. they are given when you need it for some real medical. you need to submit all those papers as a proof for that. you should go through the norms of your company. and discuss it with management then.
    thanks
