    Hi

If you are facing problems cause of his smoking the you should ask him not to smoke as it is injurious to health.

You can talk to him that you have a problem with the smell of cigarette.

You can mention him that you dont like the smell of cigarette as it suffocates .

You can also suggest him o smoke after the working hours.

    Thank you

Although this is not a very big issue but you should solve this inorder to carry on with your work smoothly. You should approach in a friendly way to solve this problem otherwise there can be some opposite consequences like strain in your relationship and working, etc. As it disturbs you a lot so you should be able to openly convey your problems to him.

-Sit for a friendly talk in the office during breaks or outside.
-Speak about his smell of smoking from his body.
-Express your problems because of it.
-Also highlight about problems of other employees who are getting disturbed from inside but unable to express.
-Tell him about the necessity to get rid of the smell if not the habit entirely.
-Request him to solve this problem of yours.
-Give some suggestions as to how he can exclude the smell from his body.
-For example, taking chewing gum or mints can help to get rid of the smell.

    Hello there !!!

you ask your co worker about this that why he smokes during the work time.
as this is not healthy for you as well as for your work also.
since smoking will make your life hell.
and if you are fired due to smoking than your family life to become hell.
so, a single 5 rupees thing will ruin your whole life.

also tell him that this is not a good idea while working.

hope i am clear to you.
    thanks for posting in EALP.

    Hi,
It is difficult to face this kind of situation. We can't tell them directly some times. So better to say to any other co-worker which is suitable to handle this problem in smooth manner.I mean which can say to him in correct way with out disturbing relations. If it is not possible then you tell to him the problem you are facing. You can have the right to say.If it is his habit say to him don't smoke in office timing.Because you may hate the smell or you may have some allergy tic reactions like vomiting sensation,or headache.you have the right to say.
