    Steps against a careless employee?

    I am regional sales manager of a product company. Recently many feedbacks have come to me regarding products being sold in bad condition. This is happening due to carelessness of certain employees of a region in packaging. What steps should be taken against those employees for carelessness in packaging?

    It is a serious problem faced by your company as this can have several negative effects like:-
    -Spoil goodwill of your company.
    -Reduce the demands of your product.
    -Loss of your company
    -Can have negative effects on the future of your company.

    You must take some strict action against those employees if it is there fault.You can take steps like :-
    -Call the employees,sit with them and discuss regarding this fault in packaging.

    -Ask them to submit a reply stating the cause of such malpractice.

    -If they don't accept their fault,then investigate the matter in depth.You may seek the help of higher authority and then take strict actions against the people behind this malpractice.

    -If they accept their faults,you should explain and make them understand the negative impact of this kind of malpractice.

    -Ask them to submit an undertaking stating that they will not repeat their mistake and if they do it again then they will be ready to bear whatever the management decides.

    -If the employees take this matter casually and tries to ignore your talks and explanations you can ask the higher authority to look into this matter and may suggest of suspending them.

    Such irresponsible and careless employees should certainly made to learn their mistakes so that they can improve upon them and overcome their shortcomings. If no one points out their mistakes then they will not know that they are doing anything wrong and thus will not take any steps in that direction. But if someone points out their mistake to them, then maybe they will try to improve themselves .

    So the first step you should take in this direction is to call those employees who are at fault in this case to your office and tell them that they are not doing their work properly and thus the company is facing problems in terms of negative feedback of the customers regarding the bad condition of the products sold. Dont scold them and give them one more chance. Give them sometime to improve. Tell them that they should improve upon their work and try to perform in a better and more efficient way for the company so that everyone appreciates them.

    Now I hope your employees will try to mend their ways and then your problem will also be solved. But even after your lecture, they dont show any signs of improvement then they should certainly be punished by either demoting them, reducing their salaries or terminating their services. Such employeees are really bad for the reputation of your company and certainly deserve to be taught a lesson.

    Hello friend..................

    Friends i only say just few words hope it will help you to overcome from this situation.
    First thing you can do that you sent a message to all your employee that you want arrange a metting with them .
    As you are the manager in this company so when you facing your employee you should be very strict.
    You have to strictly said them that if they do not work carefully during the office work then a serious action can be taken over them and only they are suffer for this for their own fault.
    Lastly you have to say that if this thing is happened again then they shall be sacked so be carefull for future.

    Hope you can overcome from this problem very soon.
