Re: Standard salary in Electrical Industry?

Salary depends on many factors. The prime factors are-
    1.The company concerned.
2.The job post in which they are recruiting.
    3.Caliber of the fresher.

Good companies especially PSUs pay well to the freshers along with various facilities and incentives while the salary in the companies of private sector is little high as compared to public sector but the incentives and other facilities are much lower as compared to the companies in the public sector.
The average salary in public sector for an electrical engineer(fresher) is 25000-33000 per month(although in advertisement they declare it as 15600-33500 per month, after the training period is over, fresher start with a basic pay of 25000 per month) while the average salary in private sector is 30000-50000 per month. If you are extremely good and efficient ,then companies in private sector like TATA,Jindal can give salary upto 9 Lakhs per annum. As you become more and more efficient and experienced, you will get higher rank as well as higher salary.

    hi friend,

electrical engineering is one of the evergreen branches of the engineering.

as an electrical engineer you will get different government jobs like

    4.power grid

    5.power plants

    9.gail etc.............

as they are government jobs the initial payout will be less but you will have great future.

    all the best
