    Sometimes our boss gets very abusive and then he doesnít even spare the female employees

    I am working in a private firm. I have noticed that sometimes, when our boss is in a bad mood, he gets very abusive and then doesnít spare even the female employees. I donít think this is right and by doing such a thing he is setting a wrong example for others as well. How to make him realise his mistake?

    Dear Friend,

    This is very unfortunate and your boss lacks the leadership skills. He must not use any abusive word to any male or female employee. This behavior of his comes under sexual harassment act and is punishable by Indian law.

    On your part, I would suggest you not to think about it much and concentrate on your office work. We can produce good work and learn more for future growth of your career only if you have good relationship with your colleagues and your boss. So, we all need to help each other in the time of crisis.

    If you or your colleagues feel offended by his behavior then you can together meet him and request him not to do so in future. If he doesn't improve, you all can go to higher management and complain and in the end you all also have the option to complain to sexual harassment committee in your office.

    But, in this case, he may have to lose his job and may even be jailed. So, before going to such extreme, think carefully.

    Also, don't do anything individually. It will be risky for your job.

    I hope you won't have much problem regarding this.

    Hello, Your boss needs to learn anger management.It is evident that there will be tough situations in office .But that does not mean that he will loose his temper and scream on everyone using abusive language to show his anger or frustration.Abusing a lady is a real matter of disrespect.And he has no right to do so,specially to a lady.Someone should make a complain against him to the higher management .If a formal complain is made against him,then the authorities will surely look into the matter and come up with some solution.

    Dear profession is profession and according to professional atmosphere this is the duty of every single employee and manager or boss etc. that they keep their attitude and behavior official that is required in professional arena and if anyone cross the rules then he/she is spoiling the environment of the official world and this should not be done at any cost because if anyone do this then he/she will be called unofficial so your boss is unofficial and you may not bear this just like that because he abuse you sometimes that is not fair at all

    First of all you all employees should go to the office of the boss when he is in good mood so it will be positive effect for you and say to them that we all are really worried about your behavior and sometimes your abusive language makes us frustrated while working and it effects the work and we think to leave the company so please sir do not do this with us because we are employee not animals and each one has enough respect and reputation in this company and in the world so you should care about it and if possible then you all should try to make your boss feel that he is going wrong in his behavior that can not be avoided by anyone so this may work at this time
