Some of the teachers are indulging in biased behaviour

I am the Principal of a government school. I have come to know that some of the teachers in our school are indulging in biased behaviour by favouring only some students who are their favourites. This is certainly not good for the students. How to deal with such teachers?

As a principal of the school it is your duty to keep check on such bias behavior.

It can happen that some students are much liked by their teacher than others as it is an human behavior but it should be to some extent and must not

cause a feeling in other students that any such thing is happening as it effects the confidence of the student.

You should call a meeting of teacher and explain to them that such things are not good for both school and its students.

Tell them how they will feel as a teacher if being a principal you favor some teacher and not the others.

You must have to make clear to them that such things can have negative effects on students and being a principal you will not tolerate such things.

    Hello,

Teaching is a very noble profession. We all respect good teachers as they help us to explore
hidden potential. Bias should never happen at any goverment school. You need to talk to those
teachers and request them to change their way of favouring a prticular student among many.
A circular should be introduced stating that stringent measure will be taken agaisnt those involving
    in biased activity.

    Bye,

    Hi aspirant

You should certainly do something about these teachers who are trying to spoil the atmosphere of your school by indulging in such biased behaviour towards the students. They should be definitely made to realise their mistake and also be punished so that they never ever repeat such a thing again. You should definitely call them to your office and give them a scolding which they will never forget.

Tell them that you have come to know from some reliable resources that all of threm are indulging in biased behaviour towards a selective group of students and neglecting the others. This is definitely not good for the students and also for their own future and they should make sure that they never indulge in such ridiculous behaviour from now on. Otherwise they are going to be severely puinished and maybe even terminated from their services if they do it again.

You can even punish them by asking them to pay a fine. I am sure that this will be a good lesson for them and that they will not dare to reapeat it again. Good luck

    Dear Aspirant,

Really it is not good to listen it.You can very well control it on receiving the complaint from any students. On receipt of complaint, call the concerned teacher, make some one, preferably under the leadership of vice principle & two another teachers as an enquiry team.Ask the team to submit the report within one week from the receipt of the letter of enquiry.

Definitely you will get report from the head of the enquiry team.On the basis of the report, you can either give a warning letter to the concerned teacher or you can send it for necessary action to your control officer who may district education officer.

If the concerned teacher requests you not to send it to the higher official ,you can give him a warning letter & leave the matter.

Hope the concerned teacher will start teating all his students equally.

    Thanks & good luck.

Respected sir this is not going good in your school and you will have to manage this situation at any cost because those teachers are not teaching and not distributing education, they are favoring with some special students and they the playing with the future of all other students those who are ignored by your teachers of school and in this case you should not take any right action, you should meet all those students who are not being cared by the teachers properly and ask them about the actual situation and tell them that you all should ask questions in the class from your teachers and if they do not tell you the proper answer then directly come to my office and I will see all of them and then you should wait and if any student come to your office for complaining of teacher then you should immediately go to the classroom and ask the reason from teacher and instruct him that do not ever try to do it again with any student otherwise you may loose your job

    All the best

Respected principal, i condemn this behavior of your teachers because in education there should be an open competetion atmosphere which is important to shape up students nature and mind set.. as an head of an school your responsible to provide justice to each an every child and develop his skills. but it seems that some of teachers are favoring their favorites this is totally unacceptable and intolerable as because this may impact the students in negative way.. the students will lose concentration and they will indulge in pre-conclusions about their performance in school... the spirit in doing good in class work will be destroyed.. therefore you should crack the whip in this matter warn the teachers in this matter and make sure that this will not be repeated ... thank you

    Hey!
Its is disheartening to know that teachers are indulging in such behavior when the most basic rule of their code of conduct is that they should be impartial towards their students. Being the Principal it is your duty to ensure that such malpractices do not continue in the school and the students do not bear the brunt of this wrong behavior of the teachers.

You should begin by calling a meeting of the staff members wherein you mention that it has come to your notice that such practices are going on in the school. After that you should tell the teachers how this can adversely affect the students and to an extent spoil the future of the students.

Incase the teachers do not understand their flaws even after the meeting and you continue to hear such complaints then you should just call that particular teacher in your office and tell her that what she is doing is not correct. She should have an unbiased opinion about all the students. You should also warn her that incase this continues then you will have to take strict action against her/him.

I hope this will solve your problem and you will be able to maintain a positive atmosphere in your school. All the best!

    Sir,
Unfortunately if such things are happening , strict action are need to be taken immediately. According to me firstly you should talk to respective teacher and directly warn them . Even then also they continue with same thing You should ask them , a question "IF SIMILAR THING IS DONE WITH THEIR CHILDREN HOW THEY FEEL AND HOW THEIR CHILD'S FELLS ?".
Such activity not only disturb student mentally but they also get feared in coming school . Sir , definitely it is a serious issue and you have take some concrete step to stop it . In solving this matter you can also take help of other colleagues as you all can come together and warn them if they continue with such behavior you all will boycott them and even this thing will be reported to higher authority.

    Sir,Immediately take action..........

    hi sir,
the biased behaviour of the teacher should not be encouraged.it effects the co-students who are studying in the same class.as a principal before starting school there should be a meeting regarding how to deal with the students in curricular and co curricular activities.you should give some guidance to the teachers and there should be a friendly nature between you and the staff.tell the teachers that dont spoil the students life as their future is totally based on the teachers teaching.so please order them to stop biased behavior and ask them to be in a friendly nature.
    thanking you....
